-: Some of the food choices. During the day the Cafe closed early so you had to eat at the Beach Bar

+: The food is excellent. Besides many options of restaurants, the quality of food in all of them is impressive. You can have very good food options even at the self service restaurants and at the dinner plates such as salmon, octopus, scallops and etc.

-: Structure - Not bad but not impressive either, I've been to resorts in Cancun region at the same or fewer price and with a better overall structure (room, pools and etc.). The walls of the room are so thin that you can hear anything your neighbors are doing or people walking by the corridors. The beachside has few spots and the pool is not for diving.Entertainment - Not impressive as well. There were some random activities going on by night with not a clear communication or someone leading the agenda or presentations. Atmosphere - The public goes from late teenages to senior adults. And this is a real problem. While many people just want a spa or to relax, there were young people just like at a spring break season celebrating birthday batch and arriving drunk, slamming doors and talking loud at 1am to 3am. Many nights I had to call to the reception so the noise could stop. If you plan to sleep or rest, forget it.Outside - The options are not that great. Visiting Santo Domingo city is nice but the infrastructure of the city and the tour vendors are very poor. Our tour guide as good but what they sold as a bus was an old van without Air Conditioning and broke seats.My honest opinion is: if you are willing to pay that money I would recommend go to some of the new resorts in Cancun. Except for the food, all other aspects above were better.

+: I liked the location, the aesthetics were very pretty, most of the staff were friendly

-: I didn't like the food. None of it was good, the drinks were not good. Very watery liquor and it made me sick. The swim up is not a true swim up. Theres a grassy area before you can get into your pool. Some ppl in our party didn't get robe and slippers, bathroom wasn't clean, the entertainment isn't fun. The hot tubs werent hot. I used the hot tube on my balcony which was better but only because i was on the third floor. The people on first floor wouldn't use it because they didn't want to be naked in front of everyone that walked by. My bed was way to firm and house keeping didn't clean very well. One person from our party even had small things stolen from their room.

+: The resort is really nice. I enjoy the partiesactivities at the pool everyday. There were so many choices to choose from for food because we were able to share Dreams. It's an amazing property. We are planning to come back soon.

-: One thing I didn't like was during breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Spoons, the waiterswaitress would be so busy, they would forget to bring drinks or other items I requested. One time we were shown to our table and we went to fix our food and when we got back another couple was sitting at our table with our mimosas. I think it can be organized more because there are a lot of staff there so people need to have one particular job they are responsible for so those types of things won't happen. +: Overview:I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Breathless Punta cana during what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Let me break it down for you:1. Accommodations:The rooms were reminiscent of a forgotten era—think filthy fans, dirty floors, and a lingering scent of mildew. The bed felt like it had been carved from a slab of concrete, and the pillows were more suitable for a pillow fight than a good night’s sleep.2. Customer Service:The staff at Breathless seemed to have perfected the art of indifference. When I asked to change rooms, they gave me few options, none of them were good, i wasted the whole day trying to find a decent room, I had to take a room because it was late at night, promises but no follow ups. very unhelpful No warmth, no enthusiasm—just a robotic response.3. Dining Experience:All a la carte restaurants are empty for a reason, FOOD IS NOT GOOD, so people go to the buffet, as they have more choices of not so good food, even at Xhale restaurant the food was not great at all, certain dishes are just ok,4. Amenities:The pool and beach are nice, but the service is so bad, you pay extra for xhale to get staff with attitude, and drinks are not good at all.5. Entertainment:Just ok, like any other resort, before they used to have much better parties and the entertainment was amazing, now it is like any other cheap resort you go to.Conclusion:In summary, Breathless Punta Cana is a masterclass in disappointment. If you’re seeking a vacation that combines a bad customer service and very outdated rooms with a high price tag, then this place is for you, I used to love this place but unfortunately, It is not the same any more, I would highly recommend reading the recent verified reviews before you book, also go on Youtube and see what expert travelers are saying about this place, I did not believe it in the beginning, but when I went I experienced it first hand. -: Rooms, Customer Service, Food, Management, the worst experience ever, we asked to speak to a manager to make things right for us, but they do not seem to care, paid lots of money for my family to be treated this way is very unacceptable. the rooms were filthy, I have videos and pictures to prove it, the staff were rude and non helpful, except few here and there, I would never go back again. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
