One of our top picks in Cabarete. Located right on Cabarete Beach, Ultravioleta Boutique Residences offers a private beach area with sun loungers and infinity-edge swimming pool facing the ocean. Free WiFi is available throughout.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the apartments offer a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. There is a full kitchen with oven and a fridge. Private bathrooms also come with a shower and toiletries. Some have a private pool.
At Ultravioleta Boutique Residences you will find a solarium area that doubles as a fire pit at night. Other facilities like a tour desk and free parking are offered.
This property is 300 m from Cabarete Caves and 7.5 mi from Sosua Beach. Gregorio Luperón International Airport is 12 mi away.

+: My job is to manage holiday lettings, we also love travelling and like to move about and explore when we travel, so we have pretty sound knowledge of the good and bad of holiday accommodation and this was definitely the bad. I prefer to leave no review then a bad one, but this time I have decided to give a review. I travelled with my daughters to Dominican Republic to visit my husband who is working there, we spent a few weeks travelling around the island and I decided that we would splash out for New Year's Eve as after that we would be flying home and we wouldn't be seeing him for another 4 months. This needed to be extra special. On arrival it looked lovely, the manager and staff at the property are very friendly and the outside and pool area was great hence the 3 stars, however the whole experience of the apartment was awful, of all the places I have stayed this was the most expensive and unfortunately, the worse.
-: The apartment is huge but soulless, lacking in decor, pictures and character, burns on kitchen worktops, kitchen kick boards hanging off, fridge very noisy, mismatched glasses, lack of kitchenware, damaged splash backs, bad water pressure in the showers, wifi only works in living room, 2 small bottles each of water left only on arrival. Not major, except when you are spending a small fortune you expect better, of course details make a big difference. Our massive problems were the building's air conditioning units (at least 4-6 large ones) sit directly on the roof above the bedrooms so it sounds like an extractor fan is going off inside the room 277 with vibrations as each one kicks on and off, when the air conditioning starts up inside the bedrooms it sounds like you are in a wind tunnel. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived, coated with sand and slimy. I went and had a word with management. The water in the hot tub was changed but it wasn't actually cleanedwashed out so sand and sliminess remained it was also turned up so high (over 50C) we couldn't use it. The first night's sleep for me was awful perhaps managed about 4hrs (not what you want on holiday) so I requested to have a refund for the remaining 2 nights so we could find somewhere else. This was refused but 15% refund was offered for the issues with the hot tub. Almost a month later this 15% refund has not been received despite me requesting evidence of the transfer and I don't believe it was ever a genuine offer. The last issue was the building site, which took up most of our view. Though we were informed that there were building works going on before hand, when I asked exactly how close to the apartment they refused to give an honest answer so I wrongly assumed it wouldn't right next door, almost touchable. At least being over New Year's Eve there was no one working onsite as that would have been hell.
