The 4-star Mistral Mare hotel is located on the island of Crete, only 300 meters from the famous Golden Beach, on the hillside in the village of Calo Horio. The windows offer a magnificent view of the Gulf of Mirabello.

The Mistral Mare offers comfortable and elegant rooms with individually controlled air conditioning, a private bathroom with hairdryer, a balcony, satellite TV and a mini fridge. Most rooms have a balcony with sea views.

There is a swimming pool with free sun loungers and umbrellas, and a poolside bar. Guests staying in the hotel's "Golden Wing" have access to another 1 pool with a bar. There is also a gym, a mini-spa and a sauna.

The main restaurant Sophia, working on a "buffet", serves local and international cuisine, including vegetarian.

The hotel's business center offers secretarial services. A laptop can be rented at the front desk, and internet access is available in the Wi-Fi hotspot.

+: Location and breakfast were very good. It was a big hotel with nice facilities.

-: Our room was not adequately clean, including having stained bedding and the bathroom doors did not close properly. This was mentioned to the hotel staff and notes were taken. We were not offered anything, we were only told that the bedding would have been changed if we had mentioned this earlier but even that was not enough in my opinion.
