+: - There are a lot of large pools on the resort. Really nice place to swim. - We had a room with access to a secluded pool that led to another massive pool. - Staff are nice, they offer to pick you up in their golf buggy if they see you out walking. - The staff came within 5 minutes when we requested shower items at 22:30 at night. - If you get outside the resort the island is interesting (although it is tiny). - Large room.
-: - The hotel seems poorly managed, to the point that it’s just a bizarre experience. No welcome pack in the hotel room detailing services or information. We were just handed a blurry printed resort map on an A4 page.- The resort seems underdeveloped. The lagoon area is just a murky pond. I’d hate to be staying in those rooms overlooking it.- Not a lot to do at the resort. Very boring and very underdeveloped- We thought it would be easier to get back to to mainland Phuket. You have to take 30 minute taxi from Old Town to the pier, then wait for the boat to come. Where you actually get the boat is really unclear as there is no signage indicating the pick-up point (imagine going to a dark, half deserted pier at 10pm at night and not knowing where to go).- Obviously, the resort is not authentic Thailand. Much more fun staying near a towncity.- Obviously resort prices, not Thailand prices for food and drink. More expensive.- The rooms were not great. They were like large student dorms. This is in contrast to other hotels we stayed in around Thailand, which were all amazing.- Noise proofing wasn’t great. You can hear the person walking upstairs.- Although it’s right on the beach, it’s not the nicest beach. The sand is coarse and full of shellsbranches. The water is murky and has dead jellyfish on the beach. There are signs up warning of stingrays and jellyfish. I really thought there would be more sea activities available, but it’s so under developed.- The semi-frosted glass door on the toilets are a joke. You can see into the toilet via the mirror when lying on the bed.- Not a lot of places to hang your towelsclothes in the room.- Plastic glasses for your drinks. I understand this for the poolside bar, but why is this throughout the resort?- The service was miles behind other hotels we stayed in.- Plastics plates for breakfast.- The food was average and overpriced.- Smell of dampness in our room.- Noisy air con.
