+: It was very central. During the night the guy in the lobby was very helpful! Breakfast was nice.

-: They gave our room to someone else and hotel was fully booked except the suit room. During the night the guy in the lobby was very helpful and gave us the Suite Room. It was 1am in the morning. We went out to eat somewhere. We came back around 3 am and directly went to sleep. Around 8:30-9 am, a lady from lobby called our room and ask us to evacuate the room immediately. We were sleeping and were really tired. She said rudely of course we can’t stay in the Suite since we haven’t paid for it. Another downside: They don’t have any iron in the whole hotel. I had to wear a wrinkled dress to my friends wedding. There is no Hamam or Spa available even though they state they offer these services.

-: Restaurants nearby a little difficult.

+: The staff was helpful and polite, even though they spoke almost no english. There are some places to eat nearby. These are the only good things I can say about the place.

-: We stayed for three nights. It could be worse but I wouldn't want to repeat the experience. The room has no soundproofing at all. Everything that was happenning around our room was audible as if it was happening right at our bed. Mostly we heard our neighbours watching TV or coughing loudly, but one night there was a couple having really loud sex. We could also hear every word of people talking in the "hallway" area. In addition to the missing sound insulation, there was also no odor insulation. One of our neighbours decided to smoke some cigarettes which we could also smell. There is only one elevator, which is tiny and can fit four slim people - or two people with moderate luggage. There is no heating in the bathroom, no electrically heated floor, no heated towel rail, so the bathroom was very cold and uncomofrtable to use. The furniture was old and has a lot of suspicious white stains. The TV was tiny and old. The bathroom has also seen better days. Besides the cold, there was mold odor in the bathroom, the toilet seat was cracked and the paint was peeling off the walls. My recommendation - stay away from this place.

+: The location was great. We could really find everything we needed close by. Breakfast was good.

-: If you’re a light sleeper, it’s going to be very hard to fall asleep. I guess there are party spots close by and we could hear the music all night long. The room was not so well lit also, and it had a tricky system to turn on the lights in the bathroom which took us a while to comprehend (you needed to turn on a switch next to the bed and only then you could turn on the bathroom light switch).

+: Staff were polite and greet you everytime and try their best to accommodate you.Breakfast is great, simple yet they try their best.Shoutout to all the staff members.Location is good too, in a great part of town, and the view from the breakfast restaurant was stunning.

-: Rundown hotel, kept alive by its staff members. Clearly the owners are not putting effort into it.I can see a great detail went into designing the room and getting great furniture, but it has become old from not maintaining it.Ac does not work, tv does not work, bathroom sink drain does not drain and keeps filling up so you can't open the tap fully, balconyterrace was dirty with rusty furniture kept outside and no attempts were made to cleanfix it up.Considering I've paid less in Istanbul and received better rooms, I am very very disappointed. Housecleaning is poor. The bed sheets were visibly stained and the dust-filled floor dirtied our socks as soon as we took off our shoes. Nobody can come clean it then because we arrived late in the night, and the next day when I asked for a change of the bed sheets, the housekeeper was surprised. She changed the sheet, bed cover and the pillow cases, but did not change the black sheet and black pillow cases and stuffed them under the tv bench, which surprised me. She gave me fresh towels and toiletries and took the trash, so thank you for that.I made the rest of my stay comfortable by spending as much time as I had with my family and friends and only going back to sleep and have breakfast.I put all the blame on the owners, and none on the hotel staff. It's evident that that staff are trying their best to make do and accommodate guests with the little resources that they have. My advice to the management is that you need to spend money to make money. Pour a bit of love into this hotel and you will generate more.

-: The windows cannot be closed properly; they are broken. This makes the room very noisy
