+: Wir reisen regelmässig nach Luxor und konnten diesmal endlich das Al Moudira testen auf dass wir schon länger neugierig waren. Der Generaldirektor und sein Team sorgen für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Grosse, wirklich individuell dekorierte Zimmer, eine wunderbare Architektur und die Lage, unweit der wichtigen archäologischen Fundorte machen Al Moudira zum idealen Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung Thebens. Das kulinarische Angebot ist sehr gut und das Personal strahlt eine Gastfreundschaft aus, die es heute nur noch selten gibt. Die Anlage ist so weitläufig, dass man immer ein ruhiges Plätzchen findet um zu lesen oder das erlebte des Tages nachhallen zu lassen. Besonders hervorheben kann man auch das Wellness-Angebot. Lavkus und Ramesh sind Experten für Yoga und Ayurveda. Neben dem Pool gibt es auch ein Hammam und ein kleines Fitnesscenter und Fahrräder kann man auch ausleihen. Wer etwas besonderes erleben möchte, nimmt für seine Ausflüge einen der Oldtimer des Hotels.

+: Floral landscaping, the architecture is very beautiful.

-: When taking a shower, the temperature of the water is unstable; it's scalding hot at times and freezing cold when trying to adjust it. It's uncomfortably cold while showering. Additionally, the shower head leaks, causing water to accumulate in the bathroom. Moreover, the male receptionist at check-in had a somewhat impolite tone.
