-: ter sido cobrado adiantado pelo hotel e pelo bokking em cartao brasileiro que me deu um prejuizo muito grande pois foi cobrado um imposto extra do governo brasileiro por ser cartao nacional. todas as reservas da viagem foram feitas pelo booking e pagas diretamente nos hoteis sem problema algum e so este hotel foi cobrado adiantado com grande prejuizo financeiro para nos. ficamos muito aborrecidos e prejudicados com esse procedimento e evitaremos ao maximo reservas com o booking em nossas proximas viagem. fora booking nunca mais

+: Beautiful location set away from the hustle and the bustle. Every morning breakfast was served to our bedroom, outside on the terrace, if weather permitting. The view was absolutely exceptional of the caldera. Walking distance to nice restaurants in Imerovigli, easy to get to other areas of the island from this area as well. The staff was welcoming and had recommendations for dinner and activities. We had an amazing stay at Avaton, and hope to be back!

+: The room is beautiful with breathtaking views from both balconies. The staff were exceptional! They were very kind and helpful. They provided an early breakfast before we left for our flight. We were so amazed by their service.

-: The resort is too peaceful and quiet. We took a taxi to Imerovigli town to shop and eat.

+: Everything!! The resort was amazing! Great facilities, views and the staff were fantastic!! We were looked after very well indeed!!

+: The staff is AMAZING and it seems like there are there instantly when you need anything. The breakfast was included and was excellent. Breakfast is brought to the room every morning at whichever time you choose. It is directly on the famous path from capital to Oia which is very convenient and beautiful. Was able to park my rented 4-wheeler in the square just down the footpath with no issues. Surrounding food options were top notch. The spa amenities (steam room, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna) were able to be utilized with no additional fee, assuming no treatments. It is located at the highest elevation on the cauldron so it can get windy but the views are worth it. Avaton Suit was worth every penny. My wife and I loved our stay and are very thankful for the hardworking, trustworthy, friendly staff. LOVED IT!!!

+: Amazing sunset views in peace and quiet! Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast delivered to our room patio by the pool every morning. Beautiful quiet hotel with stunning views. Close by to delicious restaurants and bars. A faultless experience! A hidden gem!

+: The hotel is in a stunning location, off the beaten track and with beautiful views of the caldera. You can walk to Oia over the coastal path (10k) or to Fira along the cobbled path. The room itself was very clean and comfortable.

-: Note, this is a little off the beaten track which we loved but isn’t as easy to get around from as say Fira or Oia. There weren’t that many restaurants to chose from in close proximity and the hotel restaurant had very limited choice. maybe it was because it was the end of the season but the staff seemed a bit grumpyfed up.
