One of our top picks in Sarandë. Enjoying a waterfront position just 100 m from the pebbly beach, Hotel Soan is 1.9 mi from the center of Sarandë. It offers an on-site bar with a terrace and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony. Free on-site parking is provided.

+: La camera veniva pulita ogni giorno, so che può essere scontato per alcuni ma so che in Albania non offrono in molti questo servizio. La camera era spaziosa, ristrutturata e dotata di minifrigo, aria condizionata e il bagno molto spazioso. C'è una bella veranda nell'hotel dove a volte il signore della reception ci delizia cantando e suonando la chitarra.
-: Il signore alla reception non parlava né inglese né italiano e dunque la comunicazione era molto difficile. Se paghi con la carta ti fa pagare il 3% in più (non è ovviamente obbligatorio per legge ma ho scoperto dopo che alcuni furbi lo fanno). La colazione purtroppo non aveva cibo fresco (i pancake probabilmente gli stessi da 3 giorni), e dato che nell'hotel eravamo il 90% italiani, se volevi caffè o cappuccio dovevi pagarlo a parte. Questa la chiamerei discriminazione. Non esiste nessuna camera con vista dato che di fronte ci sono parecchi cantieri. L'asciugacapelli ti danno quello mini da viaggio (se è disponibile).

+: I loved the people working at the hotel! The room was big, and had aircondition, a big shower and a fridge. Practical with a food-store right outside the door. They cleaned everyday, and drove us to the airport.
-: The bed was a bit hard, and sometimes there was a bad smell in the bathroom. Also a bit too much noise from the road.
