Hotel-Garni Almhof is located on a meadow at the entrance to Mayrhofen, just 150 m from the center. It offers rooms with a south-facing balcony or terrace overlooking the Zillertal Alps. Free WiFi is available.
The free ski bus stops right outside and takes guests to the Penken, Ahorn and Horberg Cable Cars in 5 minutes.
On-site wellness facilities include a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, steam bath, sun bed, massage shower, relaxing room and a fitness area. There is also a large garden with a pond, children’s playground and a pavilion.
Rooms also feature a seating corner and satellite TV. The large apartment includes a sun terrace. A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the Almhof.
You can unwind in the winter garden or in the reading lounge. It is also possible to store ski facilities at the property and use the free outdoor parking. Covered parking is available on request and at an additional charge.
The property owns a hunting ground in the Stilluptal Valley, and guests can hunt there on request. Cross-country skiing is possible behind the house.

+: Familie Moigg und ihr Team, haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Wir waren 6 Personen und wohnten im Appartement (mit Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit kleiner Kochnische, Tisch und 4 Stühlen, Schlafcouch im Wohnbereich und tollem Rundumbalkon) und einem Doppelzimmer mit einem Zustellbett in einem kleinen extra Raum und Balkon) Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben viele Tipps erhalten, was wir Vorort machen können und wo wir gut Abendessen können. Es gibt einen neuen, sehr schönen Saunabereich. Bis ins Zentrum fährt entweder der Skibus direkt vor der Tür oder man läuft ca. 10 Minuten.

+: Charming accommodation, we booked the apartment for 3 persons which was spacious enough and the kitchenette was quite well equipped. The breakfast was basic but of great quality, lovely staff and the modern wellness area was a great addition to our vacation. We liked the location of the hotel as it is in a quiet area but walking distance from the town center and the ski lifts are easily reached by the skibus that stops in front of the hotel. Overall great value for money and would highly recommend!
-: The bathroom in our room was quite outdated but very clean so no big issue in our opinion.

+: The hotel location is excellent, lovely walk down the valley and so quiet at night time. Thought the walk would be longer than it was but was home in no time after drinks. Breakfast was typical for the hotels in this area. The hotel owner was brilliant - very helpful and stayed up until 1 am waiting for our arrival on the first day. Couldn't ask for more from her. Gave us all the information regarding ski bus times which was very useful for us. The rooms are clean and spacious. Had the room cleaned every day except Sunday. Fresh towels and change of bedding. Good quality mattress. Gorgeous views of the mountains and in particular the Ahorn run. Would highly recommend and stay here again.
