+: Breakfast was very good with a big variety of options, fresh fruits, and baked goods as well as classic meats and cheeses and yogurts, along with a few cereal options for those in need of a touch of home. The room was lovely, high ceiling, comfortable beds, clean linens, and fresh towels. Hot water in the shower. Windows open onto Lively touristy area, however our soundproof when closed overnight. Stocked minibar with small refrigerator.

+: wonderful location with friendly staff. we appreciated that parking was a block away and the hotel offered a discount. the hotel has many welcoming touches such as a treat on your pillow and complimentary bottled water waiting in room. we also appreciated that they were kind to guests who needed help in English. location is right across from Mirabell Gardens, a less than five minute walk.

-: shower is a bit small but as expected in Europe.

+: The room was clean and comfortable (very spacious bathroom!), and the location was perfect - right across the street from Mirabell Gardens and under a 10 minute walk to old town. The staff was very kind and helpful!

+: A very well located and comfortable hotel. Excellent, efficient and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

-: The ridiculous online check in. Two days before arriving, I received an email asking me to check in online “to save time”. Ha! It took my wife and me about 15 minutes, including scanning in passports. Surely it would be quicker for the reception staff to take a photocopy on arrival! The following day, I received an identical email, asking me to checkin online…… I did click the link out of curiosity and found the form we had completed the day before, with all our details visible. VERY STRANGE! And believe it or not, the following day - the day of our arrival - an identical email appeared! I ignored it. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist looked puzzled and said the system appeared to show we had already checked in and been given a room! She asked her colleague to go and check if the room was occupied. It wasn’t! This receptionist, Julia, was extremely helpful and apologetic. It clearly wasn’t her fault - more like an IT failure. But not what you expect from a hotel of this standard.
