+: Een heerlijk ontbijt, lieve enthousiaste eigenaren en personeel. Het bijbehorende restaurant heeft lekker eten. Een heerlijke douche. Ruime parkeergelegenheid. Strategisch gelegen voor de kabelbanen, pistes en wandelroutes.

-: Aschenwald ligt aan een behoorlijk drukke doorgaande weg. Daardoor is met het raam open slapen niet zo'n geslaagd gebeuren. De handdoekenwissel ging wat al te voortvarend. Zou eigenlijk alleen moeten zijn als de gasten de handdoeken daadwerkelijk op de grond leggen. De basis-verlichting mag wel iets meer zijn voor als je (in de donkere dagen) 's avonds wat wilt lezen. In overleg met de eigenaren kan voor een leeslamp gezorgd worden, maar ik zou zorgen dat goede (lees-) verlichting standaard op de kamer voorzien is.
