This 5-star hotel is located in a quiet part of the Gastein Valley, just a few steps from the Gastein Golf Course. Surrounded by the mountains of the High Tauern, this hotel offers a spa, gourmet restaurant and free Wi-Fi.
The Europäischer Hof features a 5,600 m² spa, Gasteiner Therme. The spa has an indoor thermal pool and a beauty salon where guests can visit a variety of massage and beauty treatments using high quality Guinot products.
The spacious and elegant rooms at the Europäischer Hof feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a minibar. The noraters also feature a seating area. Bathrooms come with bathrobes and a hairdryer.
The hotel's à la carte restaurant serves Austrian and international cuisine. Half board with a 6-course dinner is available on request. In the traditional Austrian Schubert's cafe you can order homemade cakes.
In winter, the Europäischer Hof offers a free shuttle service to the ski slopes of Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein.

+: Een prachtig modern hotel met een royale entree. Met een mooie bar en lekker terras. De bediening aldaar is uiterst correct en vriendelijk. De kamer ruim, schoon en netjes. Ook in de hoekjes van de badkamer! Prima bed. Ruime (gratis) parkeergelegenheid.
-: De receptioniste was slecht verstaanbaar en wilde alles vlug doen. Goed bedoeld, maar daardoor loopt de ontvangst niet lekker. Het menu in het restaurant is zeer beperkt: Lam, vis of gebakken groente, laten we daar nou niet van houden. Dan is er misschien een schnitzel voor je..... We zijn maar in het dorp gaan eten..... Jammer. Het ontbijt is royaal en gesorteerd, groot was onze verbazing dat we verordonneerd werden om achter een soort Berlijnse muur ons ontbijt te nuttigen, we hadden niet gedineerd de avond ervoor en mochten daarom niet in het restaurant ontbijten..... Echt nog nooit zoiets beleefd! En een domper op het verblijf!! De vloer van het zwembad is gevaarlijk glad! Kijk goed uit!! Bad Gastein is helaas vergane glorie.

+: Zimmer, Bad und Balkon waren sehr groß, mit sehr schönem Blick in die schneebedeckten Berge. Sehr große Auswahl beim Frühstück sowie beim Abendbrot. Viele leckere Salate und Käsesorten, die man sich vom Buffet holen konnte. Die servierten Vorspeisen waren sehr kreativ dekoriert und lecker. Täglich badeten wir im angenehm warmen Thermalpool und erholten uns beim Saunaaufguß mit József. Nach dem 17 Uhr Aufguß wurden wir mit frisch aufgeschnittenem Obst von József verwöhnt. Zum Abkühlen konnte man die Liegen im großen Garten nutzen oder die Frischluftlaube im Saunabereich.
-: Zum Essen am Abend musste man etwas Zeit mitbringen, aber da wir ja Urlaub hatten, war das nicht so schlimm.

+: Eine unglaubliche Auswahl zum Frühstück. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, bom Müsli bis zum frisch zubereiteten Omelett war alles und für jeden Geschmack da.
