Located in a quiet bay right at the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 4-star superior Cortisen is the first boutique hotel in the Salzkammergut region. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge.

The Cortisen am See offers individually furnished rooms with lake or mountain views, a lobby bar, and a cigar lounge bar. Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list.

In addition to a fitness center, the hotel features the exclusive spa area “comfort zone” and a 23 m panoramic indoor pool. There is a Finnish sauna as well as a boat-shed sauna in the boathouse directly at the lake. Massages and beauty treatments are also offered.

There is a lakeside lounge and deck chairs along the lakeshore. The hotel has a professional boat for water skiing and offers individual water skiing lessons. At surcharge the properties own row boat can be rented.

The many leisure options include trips with the hotel's own Harley Davidson. The hotel can also organize fishing guides. A sailing school is nearby.

+: Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Cortisen. Es passte einfach alles! Sei es der nette Empfang, das freundliche Zimmermädchen, die aufmerksamen KellnerinnenKellner... Das Beste ist die Lage direkt am See und fast mitten in St. Wolfgang. Wir werden das Hotel auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!🌞​😉​☀️💯​👍​

+: Das Frühstück wurde an den Tisch gebracht - sehr angenehm im Gegensatz zu Buffets. Direkter Zugang zum See. Lage insgesamt. Personal sehr freundlich!

-: Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war etwas eintönig ..... 1 Sorte Käse und 1 Sorte Marmelade.

+: Ein kleines Paradies: Top-Lage am See. Man spürt, dass das Hotel bestrebt ist, seinen Gästen eine rundum komfortable Auszeit vom Alltag zu bieten. Freundlicher Empfang, tolle Routen-Tips (wir waren mit dem Motorrad unterwegs), Upgrade auf Zimmer mit Seeblick, gepflegter Spa-Bereich mit zwei Saunen und einem langen Becken zum Schwimmen mit herrlicher Aussicht, schöne Nischen-Doppelruheliegen, Abendessen von höchster kulinarischer Qualität, tolle Weinkarte, sehr freundliches, angenehmes Personal, Frühstück à la carte mit reichhaltiger Auswahl (kein nerviges Buffet).. Auch das Adults-only-Konzept finde ich (selbst Mama und sehr kinderlieb) in dem Ambiente als sehr wohltuend. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir uns mal wieder eine kleine Auszeit gönnen.
