Just a 20-minute walk from the Krimml Waterfalls, this 4-star hotel enjoys a scenic location in the village of Krimml. It offers a spa area, an indoor pool, and a heated outdoor pool overlooking the Hohe Tauern Mountains. Free WiFi is available in the lobby.

Featuring bright wooden furniture and floors, the spacious, nonsmoking rooms at Hotel Krimmlerfälle all have a balcony or terrace, cable TV, and a seating area. Some rooms overlook the waterfalls.

The Krimmlerfälle Hotel’s restaurant serves Austrian and international cuisine, Salzburg specialties, and a selection of organic and vegetarian dishes. The bar has a summer terrace overlooking the falls.

Free private parking is available on site, and a bus stop is right outside. A transfer service to the falls is available on request. Guests enjoy free admission to the falls throughout their opening season from April to October.

The Zillertal Arena Ski Area can be reached in a 15-minute drive. The nearby Hohe Tauern National Park offers a wide range of hiking and mountain bike trails.

+: Le petit déjeuner est complet Accès gratuit aux chutes car nous sommes logés dans un hôtel de Krimml

-: Si vous vous attendez à un hôtel 4 étoiles, passez votre chemin. Nous avons réservé une chambre deluxe mais en sommes très loin. Venant de l’hôtel Arabella à Salzbourg qui lui est un vrai 4 étoiles, la descente a été difficile. À notre arrivée, nous avons attendus de longues minutes, un monsieur a dû aller chercher la réceptionniste. L’accueil a ensuite été désagréable et on nous a demandé si on pouvait parler en allemand … l’enregistrement se fait sur un bordereau papier (back in 2000) Le confort de la chambre est très sommaire, la literie est très fatiguée et les coussins très très utilisés. Les photos booking sont assez loin de la réalité et la liste des équipements mensongères : moquette au sol (donc pas de parquet ni chambre anti-allergique), pas de coffre fort, pas de minibar avec frigo etc. Un rideau de douche dans une salle de bain d’un 4 étoiles c’est limite … Les horaires du petit déjeuner mériteraient d’être étendues (fin à 9h30) En bref, le prix est excessif pour les prestations

+: Zimmer waren geräumig und der Balkon war groß. Personal war im Großen und Ganzen freundlich.

-: Innenpool gibt es nicht, wirkt auf den Fotos viel größer. Ist eigentlich aber nur der Eingang für den Außenpool. Dieser war außerdem viel zu kalt und dreckig. Viel zu wenige Liegeplätze für den Wellness-Bereich, außerdem nie ein Personal. Abendessen war etwas klein, und die Suppe zum Beispiel nicht gut.
