The family-run Hotel zum Hirschen is located in the pedestrian zone of Zell am See, only a 2-minute walk from the lake. It offers award-winning cuisine and free Wi-Fi access.

A rich breakfast buffet with many regional products is served in the morning. Half-board includes a 5-course dinner with a salad buffet. The restaurant was awarded one toque by Gault Millau.

+: The rooms were enormous! Very comfortable and lots of shelving in bathroom. I had an issue with first room (outside noise in front of my room,nothing to do with hotel). I was offered an alternative which was a suite on upper floor. Amazing. Reception and restaurant staff were so helpful and welcoming. Location was great. Central in pedesrarea and short walking distance to railway, beach etc
