Opened in 2018, this boutique hotel consists of 5 traditional buildings formerly owned by the Hoteldorf Grüner Baum. It is set in large gardens within the Hohe Tauern National Park, just 3 km from the center of Badgastein. Accommodation with dogs is possible. Parking is free. Wi-Fi is free.

All common areas and deluxe rooms in the main building have recently been renovated and decorated in a combination of modern and traditional styles. The main building has an elevator.

The spa occupies a separate building, where an open bridge leads. The spa area includes a sauna made of Italian pine, a steam bath, a mini-pool, a fitness room, and a relaxation room. In summer, guests can swim in the heated outdoor pool, relax on the sun loungers and enjoy a drink at the pool bar.

The historic Hofapotheke building houses a bar, a restaurant, a winter garden, a lounge with a fireplace and an open kitchen. In summer, a large garden is available for visiting. In the morning, a varied buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes is served in the winter garden.

There are several hiking trails and cycling paths in the Hohe Tauern National Park near the Grüner Baum. At any time of year, the administration organizes trips around the national park and to the city of Badgastein in a sleigh pulled by horses. The nearest golf course is 2 km away.

The public ski bus stops right outside the hotel and runs to the Graukogel ski area. The Kaiser-Wilhelm Promenade pedestrian street is a 30-minute walk from the center of Badgastein. Salzburg and WA Mozart Airport are 1 hour away by car or train. Badgastein Train Station can be reached by public bus in 10 minutes.
