One of the best options chosen by us in the city of Vienna. The luxurious, famous 5-star Imperial Hotel, which returns to its guests during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, is located directly on the Ringstraße in the heart of Vienna. It offers exclusive rooms, a gourmet restaurant and a 24-hour fitness center on the roof with a sauna. The hotel was opened in 1873 by Emperor Franz Joseph under the name of Württemberg Palace.
In the interior of the Imperial - A Luxury Collection there are historical details and precious antiques. Rooms and suites with silken walls are equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, a music system and a very large TV. The spacious marble bathrooms have bathrobes and slippers. The guests of the suites can make use of the personal butler service.
In the excellent Opus restaurant you can dine, while in the Imperial Cafe you can taste classic Viennese coffee and cakes, including the famous Imperial cake. In the Salon bar 1873 Hallensalon you can listen to live piano music, order cocktails and other drinks.
Modern meeting rooms and elegant conference rooms of the business center on site are equipped with the latest technology. The historic, carefully restored rooms of Festsaal and Marmorsaal are an ideal place for organizing various events.
The Musikverein Concert Hall, which hosts the New Year concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, is directly behind the Imperial Hotel. Karlsplatz Underground Station, the State Opera and the Kärntner Straße shopping street can be reached in 5 minutes.
01. The inner city is an excellent choice if you are interested in food , shopping and culture .

+: We had an amazing stay at the Imperial. Selli, the receptionist, was kind and welcoming. Although we arrived slightly earlier than checking in time, she accommodated us and we also got an upgrade to the Sisi sweet. And while taking us to our room, she gave us a brief history about the hotel. Room service was excellent, beds were comfortable, and the fact of sleeping in a palace with a history that dates to 1886 was surreal! The location of the hotel is great just a minute away from the Muzikverein, 10 min from Stephansdom and 15 min from Cafe Central and Albertina Museum.
-: We did try the buffet breakfast, which I thought was overpriced. But I can not complain since it is the Imperial Hotel 😀
