Surrounded by a nature reserve only 3.7 mi from Velden, the Sonnenhotel is right on the shore of the beautiful Lake Hafnersee. It features a private beach and a spa.

Sonnenhotel Hafnersee’s spa facilities include a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin.There is also a fitness room.

A large breakfast buffet is available each morning. The restaurant serves Carinthian and international cuisine. In the evening, a wide range of drinks is available at the bar. +: Direkt am See, sehr schöne Landschaft. Im Herbst schön ruhig, allerdings lädt das Wasser nicht zum Schwimmen ein, da sehr dunkel und undurchsichtig. Wie hier im Sommer aussieht, mitten am Campingplatz, wissen wir nicht, vermutlich überlaufen.

-: Keine weitere Möglichkeit zum Abendessen. Im Haus á la Carte kaum Angebot, daher bleibt SB Buffet. Dieses allerdings ist extrem überlaufen, weil das Hotel auf Busreisen (Durchzug...) spezialisiert ist. Essen nur bis 20 h möglich, jedoch um 19:15 h ist kaum noch etwas da! Sehr wenig Personal, die Speisen sind kulinarisch kein Erlebnis (bzw. das, was man überhaupt noch erwischt)! Am besten satt anreisen!

-: Das Zimmer wurde ab Mittwoch nicht mehr gereinigt. WC Papier mussten wir bei meinen Eltern holen die auch Urlaub in diesem Hotel machten.

+: The location is super, next to a little lake. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and also the dinner.
