-: Das Personal wirkte zu jedem Zeitpunkt gehetzt und eher unfreundlich. Es schien so das ein Besuch mit Kindern (10+5) eher nicht erwünscht ist. Beim einchecken kamen wir uns vor wie in einer Jugendherberge! Es wurde nichts erklärt und und nur die Zimmerkarte auf den Tresen gelegt.

-: The stay at the Vienna Marriott was for four nights as a base to explore the city as a tourist. The room was alright, however, the house keeping not satisfactory. On the second day, after returning to the hotel room at 5pm, from a day exploring the city, the room had not yet been made up. We noticed the hotel does not, as standard, have a door hanging notice to say, ‘Please make up the room’. By late afternoon, we would expect to come back to a clean made up room so as to shower and relax. Following up with reception, we requested the room be made up in the mornings for the remainder of our stay. This was confirmed and noted on our room. Unfortunately, this request was partially met, just for one out of the remaining two days. In total for two of the four days the request to clean and make up the room by the time requested was not met. This was very frustrating and disappointing. Reception did not to take full responsibility, passing the issue back to the house keeping department; this was not acceptable. What was even more infuriating was that reception made the comment that the hotel was very busy! We had to wait in the lobby for the room to be made up. The level of service we received falls well below the standard expected of a five star hotel. Very disappointed with the poor customer service experienced with reception. As the booking had been not been made directly with the hotel, they were unable to apologise in an appropriate manner.
