+: Amabilidad y disposición del personal. Disponibilidad de parking gratuito. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, ya que se encuentra en una zona céntrica del casco antiguo. El desayuno, aunque austero, tiene todo lo necesario para empezar el día con energía.

-: El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, pero en una zona muy ruidosa ya que la calle tiene mucho tráfico y locales de ocio muy ruidosos en frente. Además, la insonorización de las habitaciones no es demasiado buena. Las puertas de las habitaciones tienen rendijas que permiten ver el interior de las mismas. No recomendable para aquellas personas que buscan paz y tranquilidad.

-: La habitación era un poco pequeña respecto a lo que nos imaginábamos por las fotos.

-: Luego de un largo viaje, llegamos a Santo Domingo y nos dirigimos en taxi al hotel Hodelpa. Nos registramos y al momento de cancelar con tarjeta de credito, el pago no fue reflejado por el hotel, aun cuando nuestro banco ya habia acreditado el pago. Se intento nuevamente, y el mismo problema. Al intentar conversar con la persona de recepcion, este no quiso entregar una solucion viable y nos pidio pagar en efectivo, cosa que era imposible por el horario y dia. En otros lugares ya me habia sucedido esto mismo, y el hotel, en un acto de buena fe y apelando a entregar un buen servicio a sus clientes, nos dejaba quedarnos la noche para solucionar el problema. Hotel Hodelpa no quiso ayudarnos de ninguna forma y solo les interesaba que les pagaramos en efectivo un par de noches (hasta llegar el lunes) para que ellos puedan ver con alguien de la gerencia como resolver el problema. Como es posible que un hotel que tiene recepcion 247 no pueda resolver un tema operativo por el lado de ellos, aun cuando se le estaba demostrando que el cobro ya habia sido efectuado en nuestro banco. Realmente una pesima experiencia y muy mala atencion al cliente. Por esa razon NO recomiendo este hotel, porque quizas como hubiese sido el trato o solucion a problemas mas domesticos al hospedarse alli. Finalmente tuvimos que irnos a otro hotel pagando precio de sobreventa y de ultimo momento, tan solo por que el hotel Hodelpa no quiso ayudarnos de ninguna forma.

+: I liked the location of the hotel. It is close to many museums and plazas. The ace I t he room was on point! It is nice that they clean our room, and change your tools and sheets every day.

-: First of all, my family and 8 other guesses did not received our rooms until over an hour late. The check-in time was at 3:00, but we did not get our roon until 4:05. My in-laws at 4:20. I booked 3 rooms, and one of them was supposed to be bigger for me since I was traveling with my husband and kids and we had a lot of suitcases. We did not get the room that we booked. The beds were hard to sleep on them. The mattress felt like wood. The bedding were cheap. They do not even use a fitting sheet for the mattress, but rather the regular bed sheets. You need to pay for ice. There is not microwave in the rooms, what make you think that they would place one at the restaurant area for the customer to use, but not. Both if the time that I needed to warm up food for my kids, I had to ask the ladies at the restaurant to warm it up for me. The bathroom do not have a fan to vent them. The rooms share the space where the ventswindows. So, if the guests of both rooms are using the bathrooms at the same time, so they can hear and smell each other.
