The Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib is located directly on the marina of the Port Ghalib in Marsa Alam, overlooking the Red Sea. It is just a 5-minute drive from the corniche with its shops,
restaurants and bars.
All the Nubian-style rooms feature a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool, garden or sea. Each room comes with a satellite TV, a mini-bar and a wardrobe. Some offers an oriental seating area with sofa.
Guests can enjoy an eclectic dining experience at Marina Lodge as it offers several dining options such as Indigo Restaurant that serves à-la-carte specialties and breakfast buffet. Refreshments are available at the Viz roof-top terrace.
After an energizing workout at the gym or a dip in the outdoor pool, guests can go for relaxing massage treatments. For more adventurous activities, snorkeling and diving are also available at an added fee.
Port Ghalib International Convention Center is a 5-minute drive away from Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib. Marsa Alam Airport is 3.1 mi away. Free private parking is possible on site.

-: Wifi not working suffitiently, limousine taxi didnt show up as agreed in the early morning to provide me with the transfer to the airport, but hotel staff arranged me a different transportation but approx. 50 min later.

+: Zunächst muss ich kurz erwähnen, dass ich dort im Tauchurlaub dort war und von 7:30 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr die gesamten Tage nicht im Hotel war.Ich bekam gleich beim Check-In ein Zimmerupgrade und fand mich in der besten Suite mit Hafenblick, Sonnenauf- und -untergang, großer Dachterrasse und sogar noch WLAN wieder. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Essen war OK. Ich würde es nicht in die Kategorie „nicht gefallen“ einordnen, aber es war auch nicht besonders abwechslungsreich. Ich war 11 Tage im Hotel und man merkte, dass viele Hotelgäste 5-7 Tage da blieben. Daraufhin war auch das Essen bzw. die Abwechslung angepasst und es wiederholte sich relativ viel. Außerdem war das Essen sehr speziell, sodass ich eigentlich fast jeden Abend und zum Frühstück das Gleiche gegessen habe. Mittags bekam ich Verpflegung auf dem Tauch-Boot. Das Lunch-Paket hatte ich einmal mit, aber das habe ich dann sein gelassen.Für mich hat letztendlich das Upgrade das Highlight und den tollen Aufenthalt dort ausgemacht. Ich fahre in das Hotel auch wieder für einen Tauchurlaub.
