Nestled in pine forests and next to the Gredos Sierra, this Parador is housed in a stone building dating from 1928. The terrace, library and elegant lounge look out over the lovely grounds.

Escape to the beautiful countryside of Castile and Leon on this vacation and sleep in style within this majestic Parador. The Gredos was one of the first Paradors and in traditional Parador style, is decorated in a classical style, completely in harmony with the buildings age and history.

Relax in the elegant interiors which feature antique furniture, wooden beams and stone columns. Soak up the sunshine and picturesque views from the outdoor terrace.

The Gredos restaurant serves local produce and traditional recipes prepared in an imaginative way.

The surrounding Tormes Valley and Béjar Sierra are ideal for bird watching, in particular the Serinus Citrinella species. Other activities include hiking and fishing.

+: Бывший королевский охотничий домик, хотя правильно его назвать лесным дворцом. Первый Parador на инаугурации, которого присутвовал король Испании. Небольшие номера в которых сохранен дух времен, когда здесь проводилась королевская охота. Удобная кровать, стол, журнальный столик, просторная ванная комната с двумя умывальниками, есть все необходимое. Хорошие завтраки, но без изысков: хамон, несколько видов сыра, фрукты, фермерское молоко, даа вида тортильи (омлет с картошкой), чуррос, тосты, капсюльная кофемашина. Приятно гулять по лесу, кормить осликов, лошадок :) -: На террасе с видом на лес и горы, где приятно посидеть за чашкой кофе - курят (не посидишь). У нас был номер во внутренний двор (не повезло, хотя останавливались на 3 ночи) и девушка из обслуживающего персонала сидела под нашим окном и разговаривала по телефону, а мы забрались подальшее от цивилизации, чтобы побыть в тишине. Без машины добираться сложно, автобус раз в сутки, либо такси (до Авилы 50 евро).
