Hotel Château de Gilly is the former residence of 14th century monks. The hotel is located between Dijon and Beaune, 2 minutes from the village of Vougeot, the best wine region of Burgundy.

The hotel has retained the authentic features and spirit of an old building from the 14th to 16th centuries. This is evidenced by the moats, French gardens, as well as the dining room with a majestic vaulted ceiling.

Chateau de Gilly’s elegant rooms feature stylish furnishings. All rooms have a private bathroom. They overlook the gardens, the village and the river Vougeot.

Le Clos Prieur restaurant was awarded 3 stars in the 2010 Gault & Milau guide and serves delicious regional cuisine. The restaurant is located in a former wine cellar of the 14th century. The room is distinguished by its architectural design.

Each guest is invited to visit and taste the best wines of Burgundy in the cellar next to the hotel.

+: Красивый комфортный отель со своей ухоженной территорией в здании средневекового монастыря. Достаточно просторный номер. Чистая удобная ванная комната. Хороший wi-fi. Вкусный завтрак с выбором сыров. Красивый (но дороговатый) ресторан в бывшем винном погребе с арочными потолками. Понравились стильные интерьеры отеля. -: Кровать в номере 44 была не слишком удобная и большая.

+: Красивая территория и месторасположение. Возможность взять велосипеды. -: Не понравился персонал отеля!!! абсолютно не ориентированы на клиента, не желают слушать о проблемах в номере . У нас нельзя было принять душ в ванной комнате, т.к. дешевая лейка была установлена на уровне колена и вообще не подхоила к креплению и выпадала оттуда. В ванной комнате не везде все прокрашено. В ванной комнате нет розетки для своего фена, стайлера. Персонал в баре не приветлив. В один вечер нам отказали в том, чтобы развести в каминной комнате камин, объяснив это тем, что уже поздно (7 часов вечера). При этом на следующи вечер камин горел даже поздним вечером. Погода была дождливая, но в отеле нет зонтиков для гостей. Отель претендует на 5 звезд, но ни по уровню сервиса, ни по уровню услуг и отношения к гостям, не дотягиевает даже до 4-х звезд.

+: Очень красивое шато, ухоженная территория, интерьеры в старом английском стиле. Но совершенно не 5 звёзд, обслуживание и приветливость на троечку, но во Франции это с лихвой окупается видами, интерьерами и бургундским.

+: Отель прекрасно расположен для поездок по виноградникам, а также недалёко от городов Дижон и Бон. Машина нужна. Большие, просторные номера- с камином, с мягкой мебелью, кофеваркой. Высокие потолки, хорошие постельные принадлежности, готовили номер ко сну вечером. Большая территория с парком -: Номер требуют реновации, особенно санузел. Не понравилось, что везде лежит ковролин- атмосфера номера теряется. Завтрак только шведский стол, выбор небольшой. Но круассаны очень вкусные!
