+: The location is excellent and within walking distance of everything in the city center. The room was clean.

-: The room was quite small for 2 people, we had to change it with another friend we were traveling with.The air-conditioning wasn't working and the answer we got was that the government has shut down all air-conditioning in the city.There's no garbage service? We had to keep our garbage in the room for 5 nights, which is extremely strange for a 4-star hotel.

+: Stayed at the Economy Twin Room for four nights this September 2023. One of Velvet Hotel’s strengths is the staff. They were polite, results-focused, cheerful and attentive. The location is good – there’s a Carrefour, a bank and a sky bar nearby. Plus, Europe Square is within walking distance. The hotel also has a restaurant at the fourth floor but we never tried it. We opted out of the breakfast buffet but they offer it for 25 GEL per person. This hotel is a good option for families, couples and solo travellers. Will keep it in mind for our future stays in Tbilisi.

-: My booking confirmation indicated that the room “features a hot tub, a private entrance as well as garden views”. I can verify that I had none of that – no tub, no private entrance and no garden views. Instead, we got a room at the first floor with windows that do not open and a view of the street. But that’s hardly anything to complain about. To be fair, the room we got had two immaculate single beds and a clean bathroom with gold details. There’s a mini-fridge, a wardrobe and a small TV in the room.
