Angela Downtown Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Rhodes Town and a few feet from Academia Square with all the major sights in close proximity. It offers stylish rooms and apartments and a seasonal fresh-water swimming pool.

+: The reception area was nice and modern and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They have a newly renovated breakfast restaurant with a large variety of things to eat. The location is great in the center of the town, so if you just need a place to sleep this might be one of the better alternatives.
-: I know this is a three star rated hotel, and that I therefore cannot demand high standards, but the first thing that met us in room 501 was the floor that was all worn out, outdated furnitures and a bathroom that also needs a makeover. When talking to the manager she told me that they have an ongoing renovation and have finished about 90 % of the rooms. We were unlucky to get two of the not renovated rooms. The pool area is okay but not much more. A couple of umbrellas were broken and we were all smelling al lot of chlorine after bathing there. From our room experience I wouldn't say it's a cosy or romantic choice.
