Bali Star is built amphitheatrically on a small peninsula in Bali, with a great view of the port. It offers large grounds with free deck chairs and playground, a pool and a beach bar.

+: I liked the staff, in hepled if the help was needed.We had rooms with sea view and it was located on the 2 nd floor, roof had nice green grass, which our kid enjoyed.Liked the breakfast.

+: Our room with sea view was spacious and very nice, the a bit more expensive rooms are worth the money. We were glad we didn't book a room with shared pool, because we found out, those would lack a bit of privacy. We had a room in the floor above the pool rooms which was perfect. All staff is very welcoming and friendly, except the reception desk lady.
-: We found and killed several cockroaches inside our room, 7 in total. The door handle of the shower was almost entirely covered in rust. Coffee mugs had lipstick marks, when we arrived. We had a used tissue and an empty tube of lip balm under our bed when we checked in. This remained there, the whole week. We tipped generously for cleaning, but they don't seem to clean under beds... The room was dusty. The mattress was very worn and should be replaced. The lady at the reception was gruff at the checkin, did not welcome us, didn't explain or ask anything and just ordered us to pay some tax in cash. The checkout was pretty similar, she didn't even ask if everything was good. Guess she hates her job pretty much.

+: Great location, accommodating and really friendly staff, clean room, tasty food and great variety of it, really nice and well taken care of property
-: Food labels during meals could be more descriptive at times (eg dish labeled as potatoes had also meat in it - it makes it sometimes harder to understand which dishes are suitable for vegetariansvegans)

+: Einfach alles! Das Hotel ist schön übersichtlich klein, kein Massenkomplex. Tolle Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten eine Suite mit seitlichen Meerblick. Sehr sauber! Das À-la-carte Restaurant inkl. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war unschlagbar! Selten so gut im Urlaub gegessen. Frühstück auch sehr gut. Schöner Pool. Gerne wieder 😍
