+: This is a well-appointed villa on a hillside 5 minutes from Agios Nikolaos. There are about 4 other villas visible from the terrace and a stunning view of the sea and across to the Kefalonia. The other properties were either empty or quiet so we had a very tranquil and relaxing time. The property totally fulfilled our needs for the week and there are an array of local tavernas to eat out in the town and further afield. There is a steep walk down steps carved into the rock to reach the sea. It takes about 5 minutes and is best tackled in trainers rather than anything too flimsy. When you reach the bottom there is a platform to leap into the sea and some sea kayaks for your use. Getting out of the water is best attempted in jelly shoes or similar.Giorgios was a charming host and provided wine, fruit and local information. You couldn’t really ask for more
-: Incredibly minor issues. The property might benefit from a couple of low tables on the terrace for drinks etc. It would be useful to have some towel rails in addition to the hooks in the bathrooms. But this is being picky - it was perfect for our needs.
