Located on the quiet promenade of Sitia in Crete, Elysee Hotel is 50 m from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and furnished balcony overlooking the Cretan Sea and the town. Facilities include a restaurant.
A satellite, flat-screen TV, a fridge and a safety deposit box are included in the rooms at the Elysee. All units are stocked with an iron and telephone. Each has a private bathroom with hairdryer.
Buffet breakfast is served in the spacious dining room. Taverns and restaurants serving Cretan and Mediterranean dishes are within a 5-minute walk.
The exotic, sandy beach of Vai with the palm-tree forest is 12 mi away. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can arrange car rental and free, private parking is possible on site.

+: Location was excellent as was the cleanliness of the rooms. Good to have a fridge
-: The shower was awful. It did not sit on the wall stand so could only be used as a hand shower within a very confined space The breakfast was okay.

+: Abbiamo dormito a Sitia una notte per prendere un traghetto all'alba. L'hotel è un po' datato ma nel complesso ci ha soddisfatto. La camera era essenziale ma pulita, con un balconcino vista mare e un bagno più che dignitoso (ristrutturato). Possiede un parcheggio privato ed è situato proprio sul lungomare di Sitia, che è una località di villeggiatura per famiglie con una bella atmosfera d'altri tempi - proprio come l'hotel! Nell'insieme il rapporto qualità-prezzo ci è sembrato buono. Ci hanno anche fornito una colazione da asporto perchè partivamo troppo presto per usufruire di quella inclusa nel prezzo della camera.

+: The hotel's location is extremely convenient. It is next to restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The room we stayed in was at the back of the main road, so we didn't hear any noises. The parking was also very convenient. The breakfast did not have a large variety, but everything was fresh. Also, the staff was very kind, so if you needed anything special, they could accommodate you. Finally, the hotel was very clean.
-: The hotel is old, and the rooms have not been renovated, but the bathroom has been renovated, although it is a bit small. The Wifi was very slow.
