Galeana Beach Hotel is a beach apartment complex in the village of Platanes situated right on a sandy beach, only 4.8 km east of Rethymnon.
The captivating island-style rooms are kept in blue and white colors. All accommodations are air conditioned and have a kitchenette with refrigerator. Each offers a porch with sea or view of the grounds.
Galeana Beach Hotel features a snack bar – tavern and restaurant offering plenty of lunch and dinner options. The hotel’s swimming pools offer an alternative to the beach and also dispose a bar and lounge chairs and sun umbrellas.
The beachfront hotel offers private parking and is comfortable located only 199 m from the bus stop. In addition to easy proximity to Rethymnon, Platanes offer one of the longest and best beaches on the island of Crete.

+: Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Der Kaffee war gut und heiß.
-: An diesem strandabschnitt konnte man sehr schlecht bis gar nicht ins Wasser. Dafür war der Pool sehr schön. Für mich mit rückenproblemen war die Matratze zu hart, für andere aber bestimmt ok.
