Kalyves Beach Hotel lies by the sea, next to the river Xydas in Kalyves, a village located in the province of Apokoronas. It features 2 swimming pools and a beach bar serving summer cocktails.
Guests enjoy free access to the gym, and free use of the sun beds and umbrellas around the pools and on the beach and free Wi-Fi throughout. A TV lounge and a playground are also at the guests’ disposal.
Kalyves Beach Hotel offers modern, spacious rooms, with an excellent view, to the river, sea or the mountains. Room facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator and hairdryer. Safety boxes are available at an extra charge.

+: Struttura gradevole, personale molto cordiale. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Piscina per niente affollata. Spiaggia di sabbia a due passi, mare cristallino con molti pesci, paesaggio pittoresco. Buffet tutto sommato discreto.
-: Con una certa frequenza alcuni camerieri facevano pressione in modo insistenteesagerato per togliere piattibicchieri (anche con pastobevande non terminate). Partendo da standard venetofriulani, ma confrontandoli anche con vini spagnoli, croati, portoghesi, provati in vari hotel di livello simile, non ci sono piaciuti per niente i vini alla spina del buffet. Li abbiamo trovati davvero difficilmente bevibili, insipidi e acidi (ma non conosco il livello dei vini locali e non so se si tratti dello standard cretese). Scarsi i caffècappuccino standard dalle macchinette del buffet. Meglio il caffé dal thermos presente. Palestra con macchinari abbastanza vetusti.

-: W łazience przydałoby się wymienic wieszaki na reczniki i śmietnik, które rdzewieją. Lustro w pokoju uciapane jeszcze po poprzednich gościach. Klimatyzacja po wyłączeniu cały czas dosyć głośno szumi. W opcji all inclusive nie można brać butelkowanej wody i nie jest uzupełniana w pokojach.

+: Friendly staff, great location and great value for money. Definitely worth paying the extra for all inclusive plus to get access to more premium drinks.
-: The pools were cold (the indoor one was not heated during our stay)... This didn't really put a dampener on our stay tho.

+: Delicious and varied food, excellent location, very pleasant atmosphere. Reception staff extremely professional and kind.
-: The room was not very clean when we checked in. It was mess ( dirty ) under the table and chairs and sand behind the curtains on the balcony door, there was hair in the bathtub and no soap at the bathroom sink. They forgot to give us beach towels. A little disappointment in terms of cleanliness. And when you go with your kids this aspect is important.

-: Okropne jedzenie oraz napoje. Nie polecam wykupować posiłków. Mięso niejadalne w smaku jak conajmniej nieświeże. Posiłki powtarzane , monotonne. Nawet ser feta był niesmaczny.
