The family-run Hotel Karteros is located in Crete, 250 meters from the sandy beach of Amnisos. It features a swimming pool, a restaurant with a garden and air-conditioned rooms with balconies overlooking the Cretan Sea, the mountains or the sun terrace.

Each room at Karteros Hotel includes an LCD satellite TV, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided on the sun terrace. The living room has a TV. Guests can play table tennis for free. For younger guests there is a playground.

A buffet breakfast is served in the dining room. Greek and international dishes are served for lunch and dinner. The snack bar serves light snacks and drinks.

+: Si tienes el vuelo tarde como nosotros, la cercanía al aeropuerto es estupenda. Taxi del aeropuerto allí, 20€. Todo estaba bastante limpio. Parada del autobús cercana, 1,60€ si se compra el ticket en el kiosco cercano.

-: El desayuno no era gran cosa. Tienen un perro que pertenece al hotel, durante el desayuno se movía libremente por el comedor, a nuestra hija de dos años le daba un poquito de miedo. Creo que deberían entender que no a todo el mundo le gusta estar desayunando y que se te acerque el perro a tu lado. El aparcamiento es en la calle, casi se podría decir que en doble fila.

+: Die Nähe zum Flughafen war perfekt. In der Nähe hat es zwei tolle Beachclubs, die ich sehr empfehlen kann. Frühstück war vollkommenden ausreichend. In der Umgebung hat es fußläufig Restaurants, Supermärkte, eine Apotheke.
