+: Great Location, But Not a Great Stay Vacationing on Crete has always been on my wishlist, and I chose this hotel to fully experience the beauty of this island. While I did have some enjoyable moments during my stay, I can't overlook some serious shortcomings. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. There are some nearby beaches truly stunning, which is a big plus for those who enjoy spending time by the shore like me.
-: I'm quite disappointed with the wifi service. In today's world, the internet has become an essential part of daily life, yet, regrettably, wifi was not available in my room. I had to go to the common areas (reception and swimming pool) to access the internet, which was really inconvenient and frustrating. One of the major downsides of this stay was the reception staff. When trying to get information about purchasing a SIM card to use the internet on my mobile device, the receptionist was extremely impolite and uncooperative. His rudeness and unwillingness to help really soured my initial impression of the hotel. The situation further deteriorated when I had to abruptly leave my vacation due to a family emergency. Considering that I had prepaid for a 10-day stay, I asked the staff to consider the possibility of refunding a portion of the money for the days I wouldn't be spending at the hotel (5 days). Unfortunately, the receptionist was extremely rude and hostile. I expected at least some understanding and compassion in this difficult situation, but I was met with the opposite.
