The family-run Katia Hotel is centrally located, overlooking the village square of Afissos. Only minutes from the sea, this hotel offers friendly service, comfortable accommodations and a pretty location.
This 2-star hotel has 22 simply decorated guest rooms, all of which have private bathrooms and air conditioning. All of the rooms have a balcony or a large veranda, many with great views of the sea.
A buffet breakfast with homemade jams and pastries, traditional Greek cheeses, local honey, eggs, olives and freshly baked bread is served daily. Guests are also offered complimentary traditional sweets upon request.
The Hotel Katia is well-located within Afissos. There are many tavernas, bars and shops within walking distance and of course the beach is on the doorstep too.

Tag frisch....

+: Friendly, comfortable hotel in a great location in a lovely village. Close to everything but quiet. Slightly dated furniture and fittings but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Great breakfast for only 5 euros extra. I had the top (fourth) floor room with a sea view and a balcony that was as big as the room itself. The balcony was bigger than some flats I've lived in. Only downside was no lift so might not suit someone who doesn't like stairs.
-: The only negative was the hotel's private car park which was some distance away along very narrow, twisting lanes. It was essentially a rough surfaced old olive grove accessed via a very tight, rusty iron gate that left its mark on my hire car. I would recommend parking along the waterfront which is simpler and free with plenty of spaces.
