Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Kontessa Apartments 2* 2024-2025 Greece, Kos Island

+: Fabulous week at kontessa and very relaxing around the pool by day and so quiet at night ... location is perfect for exploring in all directions with a supermarket 5 mins walk away and only about 10 minutes walk to either the beach, or the small fishing port and the old town in the hills only 30 mins walk ... this end of kefalos called " kamari " is just so chilled out but with a good choice of restaurants and small bars ... pool area is huge with many sunbeds and a lovely view ... the owner and his team were all very nice, the rooms not modern but very nice, spacious and cleaned well everyday , for a sensible price these apartments were a great choice and we will be back next time on Kos

+: Lovely apartment, it is split into two rooms which was helpful so our daughter had her own room. Nice pool and balcony with sea view, great location close to the sea and lots of tavernas. The manager Nick was extremely helpful helping with our questions and requests, and sorted out a hire car and airport transfers for us.

-: All was good! Might be nice to have a TV, but it's not essential, we took a tablet and laptop for watching programs and that worked well for us.

+: Location is excellent. Pool is a nice size and is clean. Rooms are ample size with good size outdoor area. Rooms are quiet and the aircon is quiet and of good quality. towels and bedding were of good quality and the beds were OK (definitely had worse in and outside of UK) Small supply of tea, sugar and coffee as well as soap and toilet rolls in bathroom - airer and pegs also supplied. If you are expecting a fully serviced bar area with onsite help 247 then this place is not for you but if you prefer to be on your own, coming and going as you please, quiet friendly place then this is for you.

-: No instructions how to join as we were late arrivals - note your name is on a board outside, telling you your room number and the door of apartment is left open with key in side. We didn't know this and it took us an long time to find this in the dark with the help of another resident as no hotel employee on site after 5pm. There was no breakfast available as no one manned the small bar until after 10am and some days later. This didn't put us off as we ate down the road every day. The towels and bedding was only changed once in the week and as it was in the 30s most days a second change would have been good. Finally there was no room service daily as bins in bathroom was not emptied every day and on last day we had a cockroach but its a 2* accommodation and you pay for what you get - I would still come back as overall the place was quiet, friendly and clean.
