+: Casa pulita e super accessoriata con vista sulla baia e tramonti stupendi. Posizione tranquilla a pochi metri dalla taverna del gentilissimo proprietario dove si mangia molto bene.

+: The property was very attractive to look at on the outside and inside and was presented very well, it had a lot of facilities and nice artwork etc. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. The bed in my opinion was comfy (and I'm fussy, but then my partner didn't like it). We loved having the Taverna Vassilis - just up the top of the drive, where we ate dinner twice, and where the food and service was out of this world. The lamb was so succulent and salad etc so fresh and tasty. I had a prawn dish the first time and the prawns were very large and so tasty. I had to peel them though which I am accustomed to, but I was very hungry: the dish was fab though! I've put photos in of the Taverna Vassilis and The Malaya Beach House - both complete contrasts even with the menu and both fab.

-: Unfortunately, it was quite dark inside due to small windows and being built into the rock face. The huge rock face over the bed; although an unusual feature and novelty for some, shed sand and bits all of the time and in the night, I would find sand in my eyes etc. So, I tried to use the veil cover around the head area of the bed to shield myself. Every morning and upon returning to the house after being out, I would have to clear sand and bits off the dressing table (so I couldn't leave anything out on this) and sweep it off the bed, particularly on the right-hand side of the bed and then sweep the floor area! - so it's a shame that this rock face hasn't been sealed with something! I suffer from Asthma, and I also didn't like the smell of the room which would have a damp or dank smell if you left the door shut. When we used the air conditioner in the bedroom at night, I found it too far too close to the bed - so where I usually sleep on the left-hand side of my partner, I had to swap sides to get away from it or I would wake up with a sore throat. The other major problem for me, was that when we sat outside to enjoy the ambience, this was very often spoilt by one or two dogs barking nearby (but particularly one who sounded miserable) and the barking would go on and on! and dog barking REALLY annoys me so I can't relax. I noticed that up in the Taverna the dog barking couldn't be heard nearly so badly, so maybe it was because the house was down in the valley bit (I don't know) but it was much worse to hear down in the house. The last point is that another house is being built on the other side of the little road down to the house, where I think this really spoils the privacy and seclusion now and both houses will clearly be able to see what each is doing. I couldn't do any washing as it was all in Greek. The drum was also very smelly, so I put in on a very hot wash with a wash tab in to give it a good clean. After that the smell...

+: Rustig gelegen, leuk terras met uitzicht, authentiek en ruim huisje, vriendelijke eigenaar.

-: 's Ochtends geen zon op het terras, wij deden ontbijt op het muurtje van de oprit.

+: Großartig. Alles perfekt. Die ruhige Lage, dieser wunderschöne Ort. Alles was man braucht ist in der Nähe. George ist so unbeschreiblich zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Danke dafür :)

+: Der Gastgeber Georgios und natürlich seine tolle Ferienwohnung. Von der schön angelegten Terrasse hat man einen direkten Blick auf seinen Olivenhain und das dahinter liegende Meer. Das Schlafzimmer mit dem integrierten Felsvorsprung ist mega!In direkter Nähe befindet sich der tolle Falasarna Strand. Essen gehen kann man direkt oberhalb des Ferienhauses bei Georgios Taverne.
