Decorated in a minimalist style, Villa Lydia Cavehouse overlooks the Aegean Sea and the caldera and is housed in a 19th century building in the center of the picturesque village of Oia. There is an indoor mini-pool and a rooftop terrace.
The open-plan Lydia Cavehouse consists of 3 floors. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with built-in sofas, and bathrooms with rain shower and marble sink. A monastery-style dining table, dishwasher and deck chairs are also included.
The design of the villa combines local architecture and modern amenities. It is equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and iPod docking station. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Laundry services are available upon request and at an additional cost.
Within walking distance of Villa Lydia, there are convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Ammoudi Beach is 800 meters away, and the central square of Oia is 3 minutes walk. The beach can be reached by car (1.5 km). Athinios Port and Santorini Airport are 17 km away.

+: Very cool, unique property in the heart of Oia, but still very quiet. Amazing sunrisesunset views and the staff was SO helpful and accommodating and really made our trip! We were just steps away from the main “loop” in Oia with all the shopping and restaurants. Really great location. Our hostess was wonderful, arranged everything we needed for us, transfers, tours, etc. and made our stay in Oia effortless.
-: The only complaint is that in summer in Santorini, the single Ac unit struggled to adequately cool the entire place.

+: We loved everything about our stay at Lydia Cavehouse! At our arrival, Dani greeted us to hand over the keys, show us the property, and provide personalized recommendations for our stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly clean- a cleaner comes daily to clean the house and changes sheets every other day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we loved the accessible location- pretty much everything in Oia was walkable, and Dani helped us arrange any taxis we needed. The views are breathtaking- having morning coffee on the patio overlooking the Caldera was a memory for a lifetime. We loved our stay at Lydia Cavehouse and highly recommend booking. It was the perfect size for our group of 6, and we would love to come back.

+: Waking up to beautiful sunrise and sea views from my bedroom window. Sunsets were amazing. The cave is steps from Oia's main street. VIP Treatment. Vasiliki and Michael were waiting for us at the meeting point. They helped us with the luggage, Great communication . Definitely they were above and beyond us to our expectations. On departure, they met with us again, helped with luggage, called the driver to ensure we were picked up on time and waiting with us until we were in the bus.
-: There's nothing not to like. Lydias's Cave House is right in front of the ocean, has a lot of stairs and was challenging for me. But the view's and comfort and unique experience is worth it.

+: Vue incroyable et imprenable sur la Caldera. Maison hyper centrale mais calme. le service d’entretien journalier très appréciable. Accueil et communication très agréable avec Kate qui a été de très bon conseil.
-: rien à redire. la moindre remarque était prise en compte tout de suite et une solution trouvée immédiatement.
