Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Maripaul Villa VILLA 2024-2025 Greece, Rhodes (Mediterranean coast)

+: lovely villa in a great location near shops and restaurants, close to a beach (a bit stony). Comfy beds and pillows, all with pillow and mattress protectors making you feel hygiene was a priority, fly screen protectors on all windows and doors so windows and doors could be left open with no risks of bugs entering, night lights available in bedrooms which was a lovely touch. Aircon was excellent, we didn’t use it much but when we did need it, it was great. Pool man came every 3rd day and cleaned pool. pool and outside area lit up at night up to 1.30am. constant hot water for showers and great pressure in the shower. lovely patio and garden area outside kitchen . House was clean and rep was there to meet us on arrival and show us around. well stocked with glasses, plates etc in fact never seen so much plates etc in a villa. mugs were not as well stocked and as tea drinkers were constantly washing them. 😀everything else went in dishwasher. we were there for 14 nights and a clean and linentowel change was provided half way through holiday which was appreciated.

-: These are just small things and giving feedback as potential for improvement and other information for prospective clients but would not stop me booking this villa again if I went to Rhodes as I really enjoyed my stay and it is a great place to stay. No shower curtain for shower in bathroom impossible to shower without getting the floor wet so all 7 of us had to use shower room off kitchen. (Both the bathroom and shower room would benefit from an upgrade but are absolutely fine)No mirrors in bedrooms upstairs or bins. ladies struggled drying hair etc. A second clothes airer would be great as with 7 people trying to dry pool towels and any washing there was not enough room. Clothes pegs for windy days would be great to keep the clothes on the airers as we frequently found the clothes on the ground. MobilityAccessibility; As an FYI, steps up to pool area from patio are uneven and steep and a person with any mobility issues such as hips and knees may struggle on these steps. My husband (73) had a couple of trips on these steps . Access to front door is up a small flight of steps but these were easier to manage The pool was perfect for cooling off but again a person with mobility issues might struggle getting in and out. Pool is all one dept of 1.4m so young kids would need floating aids. I still highly recommend this villa for a great comfortable holiday .

+: This villa was the second villa we stayed in during our trip to Grece. To be honest, it was the only one that we felt a bit disappointed. The house is appr 50 minutes drive from the airport in Lardos (very close to Pefko and Lindos). For us this was perfect, it is very relaxing, with a beach very nearby. The beach also offers the rent of boats, jetskis etc,. There are several minimarkets within 5 min walks. The villa consists of 2 floor. The upper floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. It also has a balcony. This balcony, unlike showed on the photos on booking.com does not have any furniture so this is a useless balcony (no view). The bathroom is really outdated, my kids LOVE to go in baths. Not only did they not show any interest, they said it was "nasty". It was an old bath with cracks, yellowish, full of limescales. The beds were fine. The AC was spot on, every room had an unit. Downstairs there was a kitchen (and a washing machine next to it), 1 more room with a bed, a living room and a second bathroom with a shower. To start with the kitchen, the fridge smelled like there was a fish lying in there for about a week. They put an used sponge for cleaning dishes (very nasty). The wifi router was downstairs, the signal on the 1ste floor was close to not functioning. We used the house literally only for sleeping. If you want to go to Rhodos to party and go to Rhodos-town, this is not for you. A lot of spots like the butterfly park, Farma petting zoo, airport, Rhodos Town, 7 springs are al a minimum 45-60 min drive away.

-: Garbage bags have to be thrown out in a bin on the main road. The swimming pool area, just like the entire interior of the villa clearly needs an updatefacelift. But it is a big house with plenty of sleeping area, so the price per couplefamily will be really fair. The pool isn't really inviting, we would rather go to the surrounding beaches (St Paul, Pefkos, Lothiarika beach are all so close it would be a shame to spend this time around this mediocre pool). This villa is full of potential. However it is outdated (too bad we forgot to take pictures of inside). The pictures you see on booking.com are not realistic anymore. A small investment and this villa will earn a 910 for larger groups seeking a relaxing villa. But for now, I can't think a score higher than 7 is fair.

-: The property had obviously been shut up for a long time, there were cockroachescobwebs throughout. Air-conditioning in main bedroom so loud that it was impossible for anyone to sleep in that room, we could not use the room without air conditioning as it was 36 degrees in Greece during the week we stayed. This meant we had to sleep 7 people between 3 bedrooms. Contacted property on 1807, property manager came to look he promised someone would be out the next day. We also informed the property manager that there was a poor water supply to the second floor of the property. We were told this could be due to “problems in the area”. No other explanation or solution offered. 1907 no one arrived to fix air conditioning and we had lost all water to the top floor of the property, no water from taps, no water to bathshower, could not flush toilet unless we used a bucket of swimming pool water in order to do so. On 2007 we chased the property again, someone came out and could not fix the air conditioning and instead they left a portable air conditioner which was as loud as the broken air conditioner and in order to use, the bedroom door would have to left open which a) meant more noise b) rendered the air-conditioning useless. Still no water to the top floor of the property and water supply to the ground floor becoming weaker. On 2107 after complaining directly to Booking.com someone came to replace the facility air conditioning unit and the water supply was reinstated. For 5 out of 7 days we were living with no water, 3 occupiable bedrooms between 7 people and a unclean swimming pool (this was cleaned once during our 7 day stay). There is a whole host of issues with this villa over and above what I have listed. I have photo and video evidence of the lack of waterfaulty air-conditioning. This property was uninhabitable for myself and my family for 5 nights out of our 7 night stay.

+: Bij aankomst was er fruit in de fruitschaal, water in de koelkast en een Paasbrood!De tuin met zwembad (werd iedere ochtend schoongemaakt), ligbedden, basket, tafeltennistafel, volleybalveldje, speeltuintje, dartbord, picknicktafels was geweldig, Een eigen carport!Er waren voldoende faciliteiten zoals vaatwasser, wasmachine, föhn, oven, broodrooster, tostiapparaat etcDe locatie op het eiland was erg centraal, je kon iedere hoek van het eiland in maximaal 1 uur rijden bereiken. De villa was op loopafstand van toeristenwinkeltjessupermarkten, restaurants en het strand.Er waren voldoende handdoeken en badhanddoeken.Contacten verliepen prima.We mochten wat later uitchecken vanwege een late vlucht, dat was erg fijn.We hebben er twee weken gezeten en tussendoor werd het huis nog een keer schoongemaakt. Super!

-: De vaatwasser staat los en valt uit het keukenblok als je hem inlaadt. De kranen en douchekoppen zijn allemaal erg verkalkt en aan vervanging toe. De waterdruk is erg wisselend. Hierdoor is het nemen van een bad haast onmogelijk, voor het vol is ben je een uur verder. De bank zit niet comfortabel. Binnen is de tafel met 6 stoelen te klein voor 8 personen. Er waren alleen ovenschalen, veel koekepannen en een grote pan. Toen ik om gewone pannen vroeg, kreeg ik nog een hele grote pan en nog een koekepan.. Goed bedoeld, maar nu had ik nog steeds geen gewoon formaat pannen om te kunnen koken.Het koffiezetapparaat is aan vervanging toe, het duurt een half uur voor je een flinke mok koffie hebt.Sommige bedden zijn heel hard en liggen niet heel prettig. Het wasrekje is aan het roesten, dus niet meer geschikt voor het ophangen van de was. Moet vervangen worden.Als er iets aan deze punten gedaan zou worden zou het echt een topvilla zijn. Nu hebben we ook zeker genoten en hebben we absoluut waar voor ons geld gekregen! Wil je dus een ruime villa, op een centrale locatie, met veel faciliteiten voor een goede prijs, en je vindt het niet erg dat sommige dingen vervangen moeten worden, dan kan ik je deze villa echt aanraden.
