+: My husband and I visited the Mayia resort in order to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We had been saving up for this vacation for years so we had very high expectations and I must say that they were met 100%. I truly was exceptional! The facilities are beautiful with great style, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff was truly amazing! From the reception, to everyone working at the restaurants and Valantis at the pool, every single person that we came across did everything they could to make sure that we had an amazing experience! I cannot say enough about the staff!The resort provides so many choices when it comes to your meals, from the main restaurant with an amazing buffet, that I wouldn’t mind having every meal there, to the three beautiful a la carte restaurants to choose from! We also enjoyed the performances every night at the auditorium and the parties at the pool! It was a lovely way to end the night! My husband and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who is looking to relax, enjoy good food and feel pampered! We really hope to be able to go back one day!

-: Everything was absolutely amazing but if I had to mention something that I didn’t like is that the cleaning service just wasn’t at the same level as the rest of the staff. The room was clean but not spotless.

+: The hotel was beautiful and the food was good in comparison to the usual resort food you'd find. The service at the pool was amazing, you always got the drinks you needed.

-: The booking system for most restaurants weren't great as we didn't get to eat at all the restaurants during our stay there. The service probably could have been better too.

+: The hotel grounds were elegant, and the services provided at this all-inclusive resort were generally in line with expectations. The private pool attached to our suite was the highlight of our stay, although the experience was occasionally marred by noisy and intoxicated neighbours, which affected our privacy.

-: For a five-star hotel, there is a certain standard that must be consistently met, and unfortunately, this wasn’t always the case. Issues such as inconsistent housekeeping, cleanliness of the room, problems with the air conditioning, and the lack of automatic replenishment of in-room amenities were disappointing. It’s not ideal for a guest to have to request or remind staff about these matters daily, as this detracts from the relaxation a holiday should provide. Considering that the room rate was firmly at a five-star level, the expectation is that everything should function smoothly and efficiently. When paying such a premium, guests have every right to expect a seamless experience where all details are handled without needing to intervene. On a positive note, the hotel staff were consistently friendly and eager to assist, which added a personal touch to our stay. However, given the shortcomings we encountered, we would likely explore other options in the future.
