Newcastle Studios by Estia is located in Malia Old Town, a 10-minute walk from the Malia bar strip. All the rooms are self-catering and have balconies. There is a large swimming pool with bar on site.

-: 1. Personalen var fruktansvärt otrevliga. De bemötte mig och min väninna med disrespekt och väldigt dålig attityd. De himlade med ögonen, svor åt oss och var bara allmänt otrevliga utan anledning. 2. Rummet var inte som på bild, mycket mindre och ofullständigt. Det fanns ett pentry men typ ingen utrustning, inga knivar, skärbrädor, diskmedel eller likande. Vattnet fungerade inte, fanns inget tryck i varken kran eller dusch. Fanns dessutom bara kallvatten. 3. Rummet var alldeles för varmt och gick varken att vistas eller andas i. Det gick att köpa aircondition för 60euro vilket var fruktansvärt dyrt och fungerade inte ens. 4. Det fanns inget nätverk över huvud taget på rummen eller vid poolenbaren. Det utlovades Wi-Fi men inget fungerade. Det fanns inte ens mobilnät och man hade alltså ingen täckning alls. Vi frågade personalen angående nätverk och de avvisade oss flera dagar i rad. Till slut sa dem att det var våra telefoner det var fel på och anklagade oss för att ljuga. 5. Det fanns massa djur på boendet, en hund och massa katter som de misskötte totalt. Katterna var supermagra och fick bara dricka vattnet från poolen. 6. Maten var fruktansvärd.7. De försökte lura oss på pengar flertalet gånger. Vi såg dessutom att någon annan som bott på hotellet under samma tid som oss lämnat en liknande recension, alltså verkar hotellet blivit sämre på senaste tiden.

-: Owner treated us with disrespect, shouting, not giving us our money that we left as deposit, and many more occasions where we felt like we’re at a prison rather than a hotel. The closing of the hotel door was loud but we had to use it and then the guard started to scream at us that we are making noise and threatened to kick us, the ac at the upper floors barely worked and it was extremely hot.
