+: The room was large and comfortable with a nice balcony. The pool was a great comfort for our kids (pool guy was so nice!) and the included breakfast was great too. Easy walk to Fira town. They helped us rent a car and the car was brought directly to the hotel and we were able to return it to the port on departure which saved us money on a ride to the port.
-: Nothing really. A shower curtain could maybe make the bathroom less wet?

+: We visited the hotel with a large group, on the occasion of a wedding. Kostas from the pool bar is an incredibly nice person. For a week, he was like our friend. You could see an incredible commitment to making guests feel comfortable. Willing to try to communicate despite the language barrier, always willing to help and smiling.
-: As for the weaknesses of the Philipion facility are: Lack of a place where guests can talk freely after 8pm. The pool closes and there is no access even to tables and seats - no lobby.
