Located among lush greenery in the heart of the thickly wooded Seich Sou Environmental Park in Thessaloniki City, Philippion lies with a 10-minute drive from the city center and a 15 minutes' drive from Makedonia International Airport. A seasonal pool lies in the property's premises. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Opening to a balcony with views of the city or the park, all rooms include air conditioning, a TV and a fridge. They also have a bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries and hairdryer.

An American-style buffet breakfast is daily served at the dining area of Philippion. The poolside piano restaurant Alexandros offers a choice of Mediterranean dishes as well as a wide range of Greek wines. A full range of coffee and specialty drinks and a selection of fresh pastries are served at the café-bar Alexandros.

Free shuttle service to the city center and Helexpo Exhibition Center is provided during the afternoon on weekdays and throughout the day on weekends. More facilities include a sports cafe with satellite channels. Free private parking is possible on site.

+: We liked so many things. Fom the friendly attentive staff (One of which gave us recommendations, which panned out awesomely, of places to visit when we headed on to Chalkidiki) , to the swimming pool, to the amazing location, the stunning views night & day and to the easy access to almost anywhere in thessaloniki for only €10 by taxi. We were almost put off by the reviews but we're so glad we weren't. The whole experience was amazing!

-: The hotel is a little tired around the edges. Which is a bit sad. Don't let it put you off though.

+: Das Haus hat eine Unglaubliche Lage in Mitten der Wälder.

-: Erstens hatten wir ein Zimmer mit drei Betten gebucht, haben aber ein Doppelbett und eine Ausziehcouch bekommen. Das Hotel ist total herunter gekommen und in den 90ern geblieben. Teppichboden, keine Steckdosen am Bett in der heutigen Zeit. Etc etc
