One of the best choices we have chosen in the city of Athens.
Polis Grand Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Omonoia Metro Station and 300 meters from the National Archaeological Museum. It features a small fitness center, a rooftop bar overlooking the Acropolis and Likawit Hill, and rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Rooms at Grand Hotel Polis have elegant furnishings and a marble bathroom, air conditioning, a laptop safe, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a balcony with views of Lykavit Hill and the Acropolis.
A rich Greek buffet breakfast is served at the Polis Restaurant, and fresh coffee and delicious cakes are served at the Polis Life Bistro. The rooftop bar-restaurant and restaurant serves refreshing cocktails and Greek dishes, while admiring panoramic views of the city.
The entertainment districts of Gazi and Psirri, the flea market of Monastiraki and the New Acropolis Museum are several metro stops away. The 24-hour reception staff can arrange car rentals, city tours and excursions.

+: El hotel estaba muy limpio y desayuno muy completo. Aunque los comentarios que había leído decían que la zona estaba muy degradada, nosotros no tuvimos ningún problema y no había apenas toxicómanos. Además a solo 15 min andando estás en las zonas céntricas.

-: La atención de las 2 personas de recepción al hacer el check in fue bastante desastrosa. A pesar de avisar previamente de q llegaríamos con antelación, nos tuvieron más de 4 horas esperando para darnos habitación, dando explicaciones poco convincentes, por lo cual nos dio la impresión de desidia y falta de interés en dar buen servicio al cliente. En principio nadie hablaba español y no nos entendían, por lo q nos comunicarnos en inglés. Después resultó q lo hablaban todos los trabajadores de recepción. Fue una situación muy surrealista por diferentes motivos. Por otra parte, el picnic q nos prepararon para un día q salimos de excursión, el cual tuvimos q reclamar, pues por error, otra vez, de una de las personas q hicieron el check in al cual se le olvidó, dado q teníamos desayuno incluido, fue bastante malo.

+: The reception staff are very attentive and helpful The location is close to the metro station It is a nice and clean hotel with a nice view from the roof top and the breakfast is fabulous buffet with everything you can think of
-: The roof top restaurant is nothing special for a 4* hotel you expect something better The waiting staff inattentive ordered bread as a starter and got leftovers from the breakfast old and hard definitely not acceptable The area doesn't feel very safe with lots of graffiti and needles lying on the floor
