The beach can be reached in just 19 minutes. Built as an amphitheater, Hotel Selena overlooks the bay of Elounda and Spinalonga from the windows on a gentle slope of the hill of the resort village of Elounda, near the beach. This 3-star hotel offers a private beach, 2 outdoor pools, a bar-restaurant and a poolside bar.
From the windows of rooms with a fresh bright interior offers unlimited sea views. Each is equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, satellite TV and a safe. The private bathroom has a bath or shower.
Hotel Selena has a buffet-style restaurant and an à la carte open-air restaurant serving Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine. Light snacks and refreshments are available at the poolside snack bar throughout the day.
The modern and bright bars, restaurants and hotel reception have recently been renovated. A gym, 2 lounges with a reading corner, a business corner and a lounge with satellite TV are located on site. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas.
Free private parking is available on site. 30 meters from the Selena Hotel there is a stop where buses to the village of Elounda and the city of Agios Nikolaos often stop (10 minutes). The village of Elounda is just around the corner, 2 km away, and the village of Plaka, 2.5 km away. The airport and port of Heraklion are approximately 72 km away.

+: Tout était parfait aussi bien la suite avec jacuzzi que le restaurant. Le personnel est vraiment exceptionnel, très discret et aux petits soins pour les vacanciers. Hôtel très bien entretenu.

+: Mein Zimmer war sehr schön und gut gelegen. Whirlpool und die Terrasse mit Meersicht einfach top. Das Bett war bequem. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.Auswahl Morgenessen gut (normal).Abenessen bis auf wenige Ausnahmen immer gut und köstlich.Das Personal super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.
-: Auswahl Abendessen (Buffet) ein bisschen einfach und es fehlten so die Infos. Leider am letzten Tag erfahren, dass Eieromeletts zum Frühstück erhältlich gewesen wäre. Eben Infos.... Bin kein Fan von Schweinefleisch (sehr zäh) und Hühnerschenkel (kein schöner Anblick), ich gebe allem eine Chance, aber das war wirklich nix. Achtung, sonst war das Essen immer gut! Die Küche hat definitiv noch sehr viel Potential.Der Flasche Rosé wurde warm serviert. Obwohl es im Restaurant einen grossen Weinkühlschrank hat! Die allgemeine Poolanlage hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen. Das Hotel ist für mich kein 5*. Ist aber trotzdem ein Top-Hotel.

+: First I’ll start with the staff. Every single person there is super nice and welcoming, they would do anything to make you feel comfortable. There was a lady at the reception called Laura who’s extremely adorable and nice to talk with. We had an issue with the room view not being what we paid for but she arranged a quick solution for us with a smile. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, the food was good and varied everyday and the view from the restaurant was amazing.
-: The pool could be improved, the water was super cold and not deep at all. It is a shame that the pool doesn’t have a nice view knowing that the surroundings are amazing. I was also shocked to see that the rooms did not isolate much the sounds, I used to wake up everyday at 8 am because people would walk by the room and you could hear their steps as if they were next to me. They should think about providing some covers for the balconies with jacuzzis because everyone can see you when you’re in rooms giving on the paths and reception.
