+: Le calme.

+: We felt like family, we were made to feel so welcome with biscuits and raki left as a welcome and fresh towels delivered after a few days. Paul the owner was there if we needed anything. The place was just what we needed for our base, lovely greek apartment, clean and well equipped. 5 minutes from Sissi town but far away enough to enjoy the quiet.

+: The location was good - the balcony on room 2 was a decent size as was the kitchen and bedroom. The owners were very pleasant.

-: The beds were terrible I was in apt 2 which was a triple so a double bed in bedroom and a single bed in kitchen area made out as a seating area. I tried both beds and they sadly were not up to a standard I would expect. They were on a concrete base so no give whatsoever and the mattress on double was not if a good quality. The owners Maria and Paul attempted to assist ( firstly saying they were orthopaedic- which in my opinion they weren’t) after 3 days of no sleep ( drawing if my hips horrendous) it was mentioned and they duly tried to remedy by offering a z bed single mattress to go on top of the double approx 2.5 -3 inches of foam. This was ok short time for a night or 2 max as it was a single so in effect not in a double bed. I was looking at flights home due to the beds situation but stuck it out. I would suggest if you want a good nights sleep check out other locations. This was my main issue with the property. The owners say they will be addressing in the winter months but I really think decent mattresses should have been purchased as I was on an 11 day stay. Of note this property is situated slightly out of the main area which was great but there was a steep uneven road to negotiate to and from the property down to the main road which was steep and undulating. Do anyone with walking issues need to be aware of this.

+: I stayed at Sissi View for 2 weeks from the 14th May 2024 , the property is located up a steep road overlooking Sissi, if you struggle to walk or have issues with your knees you would struggle. I stayed in the lower apartment which was lovely but felt a bit chlostrophbic then was able to go upto the upper apartment with the French doors which opened onto the balcony with lovely sea views which are amazing, everything is there if your self catering. Its a 5 min walk into the centre of Sissi where there is a beautiful small harbour plenty of restaurants to eat and the odd clothes and souvenir shops. It is a rocky coastline so there are no beaches in Sissi but you can get to beaches in a taxi or a half hour walk the other side of Sissi. It isn't a large resort but very relaxing I would say more for couples singles .

-: The only negative were the beds the mattresses weren't comfortable at all and are placed on concrete bases which is quite common in Greece. If you like a hard bed fine if not you would struggle to sleep.The hosts were very helpful and did the best they could with extra mattresses.

-: Die schlechte Bewertung bekommt die "Kellerwohnung" da sie klamm und muffig ist. Einen Ausblick hat sie weder auf Berge oder Meer!
