+: We had a great time here! The room was spotless and the staff super friendly and helpful. Our room was not huge but spacious enough for our two suitcases. The ocean water is clean, the beach is also as clean as it gets with so many people. The food is good and changes every day - there is a different theme each day of the week. The all inclusive drinks were also fine. There were two live events while we were there (one DJ and one singer) which was fun even though the hotel bars close at 11pm. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a small cake for my boyfriends birthday in our room, which was a gesture we highly appreciated. But our personal highlight were the pool cats, a small group of friendly (and some shy) cats who were chilling in the pool area all day. They wouldn't bother anyone but were happy about cuddles and attention. There was also a friendly cat on the beach who frequently visited us. All in all, we would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone.

-: The sunbeds in the pool area by the beach are only for guests of the beach wing of the hotel. Unfortunately, there is no sign that explains this so we were asked to move to the sunbeds on the beach. Fortunately we had a voucher to lay there for free, otherwise it would have been 7€ per day. The toilets in the public areas were not up to the standards of the hotel, they could use some extra cleaning and possibly a renovation (especially the one in the beach area). Something to note is that even though the hotel is adults only, the beach isn't. People can lay in front of the sunbeds on their towels with their kids. Not an issue for us, but might be difficult for others. The food that was sitting out in the restaurant such as the pasta was often times lukewarm at best, which was sad as it was really good.

+: Il cibo era buono, avrei preferito più scelta per la colazione dolce (ad Esempio il cappuccino o caffè espresso). La camera era in ordine, l'hotel pulito, la spiaggia in ordine ma poteva essere pulita di più (c'erano cartacce, mozziconi, bottigliette...). Lo staff è stato accogliente e utile anche prima del nostro arrivo.

-: Il bagno della camera è una grande pecca. A ogni doccia si allagava anche la parte di fronte al wc ed era impossibile farlo asciugare tanto da creare sporco perché inevitabilmente la pestavi. Basterebbe creare uno scolo per le acque migliore.

+: W ramach all inclusive na posiłkach każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, być może stają się one nieco monotonne po tygodniowym pobycie, lecz przy krótszym nie ma się do czego przyczepić. Dobre śniadania, bardzo dobre lunche. Kolacje hotel stara się urozmaicać, nam trafiła się poprawna o tematyce tomato i bardzo dobra z kuchnią kreteńską, można było spróbować wielu lokalnych dań (souvlaki, pitagyros, krewetki saganaki), wszystkie bardzo smaczne. Do posiłków dobre piwo i poprawne wino. Drinki w Beach Barze również dosyć urozmaicone, choć większość bardzo słodka, dostępne też piwo, wino, kawa. Apartament trafił nam się w części przy plaży i basenie, co było bardzo wygodne, apartament duży, dostępne wszelkie udogodnienia włącznie z kapciami, szlafrokami, zestawem kosmetycznym (waciki, patyczki), na powitanie małe wina i ciasteczka, co było bardzo miłe. Nie było problemu z dostępnością miejsca parkingowego dla samochodu i leżaków przy basenie, po okazaniu voucheru mogliśmy bezpłatnie korzystać również z leżaków przy plaży, lecz nie wszyscy tak mieli, nie wiem od czego to zależy. Plaża położona bezpośrednio pod basenem z Beach Barem, więc drinki z all inclusive można było pić również na leżakach przy plaży. Hotel położony bezpośrednio przy przystanku autobusowym jeżeli ktoś chce się przemieścić np. do Chanii. Bardzo miły i sprawny personel hotelowy począwszy od pani recepcjonistki, przez obsługę restauracji i barmanów, na personelu sprzątającym skończywszy. W czwartek wieczorem odbyło się Pool Party z muzyką graną na żywo.

-: Niezbyt smaczna kawa do śniadania z automatu. W pokoju gdzie niegdzie łuszczył się tynk przy suficie.

+: Ensiluokkalainen. Asiakkaan yksilölliset tarpeet huomioiva hotelli. Erittäin ystävällinen, lämmin henkilökunta, joka pitää oikeasti huolta asiakkaistaan. Ruoka monipuolista, paljon paikallisia herkkuja tarjolla. Jälkiruokapöydässä joka aterialla jotain uutta, hienoa käsityötä. Siistiä ja puhdasta koka puolella. Paras hotellikokemus Chaniasta loistavalla sijainnilla. Valitse tämä hotelli kun lomailet Kreetan Haniassa!

+: This was my 5th mini-holiday in Solimar Turquoise Hotel and I had an amazing time, again. They had up-graded my room, so I could stay in the Beach Wing with a beautiful view of the sea and Theo Island. Everything was perfect: the spacious and clean room, the hotel's lovely beach and the delicious food, with Greek specialities. But the real magic was the kind and attentive staff: Anna ( the manager ) and Anastasia ( the receptionist ) are the hearts of the hotel and thanks to their hard work and kindness I always feel at home in Solimar Turquoise.
