In Akrotiri, next to the Venetian Castle and very close to the prehistoric settlement, lies Thira's Dolphin. The traditional settlement is located only 1 km from the famous Red Beach.
The traditional Cycladic complex disposes 12 units enjoying balconies or patios with views of the Santorini caldera. All units are air-conditioned and offer a fridge and TV.
Guests can relax and enjoy a drink at the outdoor bar by the big swimming pool which is surrounded by sun beds and umbrellas. There is spacious parking available.
The village of Akrotiri is located 7.5 mi from Fira. The bus stop connecting with Fira and the beaches is located only 100 m from the hotel.

+: Nos encantó la ubicación ya que estábamos alejados de todo el bullicio y caos de Thira y Oia pero al ser la isla tan pequeña, podíamos desplazarnos con coche rápidamente a cualquier sitio. Akrotiri tiene mucho encanto y conserva la esencia sin masificación turística. Calidad-precio genial. La habitación súper grande y bonita y la piscina muy guay. El personal súper atento y agradable. Cogimos una excursión que nos recomendamos y el último día nos prepararon un Picnic porque nos teníamos que marchar muy temprano.
-: Quizá un poco más de tiempo para desayunar, el horario era un poco limitado. Quizá también poder saber antes de reservar si la habitación está en planta baja o en pisos superiores.

+: We really enjoyed our one week holiday at Thira’s Dolphin. Our 4 pers accomodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Two separate rooms each of them airconditioned. The breakfast was fine. Not like in a huge hotel with an giant buffet but for this number of rooms and according to our expectations there was enough variety. We loved the multi cereal bagels and the cream cheese with honey. The owners were discrete but available if you needed them. The pool is phantastic: great beds, every day clean pool towels and swimming with your eyes on a church tower and old venetian castle. Unique! Also the views on the caldera and sea were astonishing! Akrotiri center by foot takes only a few minutes. There you can find Some nice restaurants. Also at the harbour of Akrotiri we ate in very good taverns. Red Beach very nearby. We would highly recommend Thira’sDolphin if you go to Santorini. Oia and Phira are easy to reach by car or bus. It takes you only 40 minutes to Oia, 25 minutes to Phira.
