Set between the traditional Greek village of Gastouri and the picturesque coastal resort of Benitses, Villa Claire is in a 5.000 m2 property and features mountain views. Guests may relax by the outdoor, infinity pool or the outdoor hot tub with whirlpool feature.
The stylish villa consists of a living room with an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen that provides guests with a table for 6, and another dining area on the upper floor. A twin bedroom with private bathroom with a corner bath are located on the ground floor, and 2 other bedrooms with balconies are on the first floor, both of which are accessed by their own spiral staircase and one of which comes with an private bathroom.
The well-maintained gardens come with a built-in covered barbecue, and a kiosk providing outdoor dining area for six. Villa Claire also offers a seasonal outdoor pool with sun chairs and umbrellas as well as an outdoor shower. Free private parking is available at the villa.
Benitses is only a 5-minute drive and you will find there an array of restaurants and cafe bars. If you prefer authentic tradition, Gastouri village welcomes you with its maze of narrow streets, only a few hundred yards down the hill. The nearest airport is Corfu International Airport, 5.6 mi from the property.
+: We loved the view, pool, spacious facility and the host. Overall a great experience.
-: The only point I would mention is that the villa is slightly isolated, but as long as you have a carscooter it is perfectly accessible.

+: Beautiful villa with gorgeous views, well equipped, lots of lovely seating areas outside and great pool. Great location for us, short drive from the airport, up some winding roads from the nearby town close to the villa, we had cars so it was fine (seems like you definitely need a car but this was well explained in the property listing). Niki was a great host, helpful and friendly, easily contactable if there was anything we needed. We loved that the villa was run on solar power.
-: There were kitchen basics missing like coffee, salt, pepper, oil for cooking at the villa, but this may have been due to covid restrictions, not a big issue for us anyway. Also could do with a hook in the shower to hold up the shower head, but these are very minor points that didn't affect our stay at all - we had a lovely stay!
