+: The communication was perfect. From being met by George & Poppy late at night to the WhatsApps with Nikos.We were wow'd by the villa. It had everything we wanted and more. Everything about it was beyond our expectations.The pool area is exceptional. The gardens were beautifully maintained and I particularly loved the range of seating areas around the villa, on different levels. Loved the front porch with its coffee-time setup or I just sat there listening to the cicadas overlooking the olive tree grove and the beautiful evening skies; and I loved the large upper floor balcony area with two large, luxurious sun loungers and amazing panoramic views. There are more!The laundry room was so useful and well placed on the top floor. My sons loved the PS4 and we were able to log into our home accounts for Netflix and Prime Video on the modern TV setup. Broadband was good enough and compensated by having good mobile connectivity in the house and surrounding areas. The showers and bath were great, lots of lovely olive oil based products . I was particularly impressed too with how good the hairdryer was.. even better than mine at home and I was reluctant to leave that behind!We cooked a lot and found everything we needed plus some unexpected surprises from the hosts. I don't want to list them as it's up to the owners to determine what they wish to give as gifts. We were delighted, for example, to find a full bottle of delicious greek olive oil and used it throughout. I thought that I might send Nikos a note for some optional extra cooking items that we looked for e.g. oven gloves. Nothing major missing. Pots and pans were of a great quality and lots of great cooking knives and utensils, plates, glasses of all types and mugs as well as cups. There was a kettle (in constant use), a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso coffee machine as well as an electric toaster.Beds were very clean and comfortable.

-: There were 7 of us so there were more than enough bedrooms with air conditioning but given this year's extraordinary temperatures, Nikos may need to extend the air conditioning to the 2 bedrooms that have fans only. Air conditioning was everywhere else and was fantastic.

+: Villa Kalli Crete is perfect! Located in a peaceful area with views of the sea and mountains, yet you can easily walk to the nearest town. The villa has two fully equipped kitchens and lounges, as well as 3 bathrooms. Towels, toiletries and cleaning products were provided. The host was fantastic, he provided us with recommendations, assistance in booking taxis as well as providing complementary drinks and treats. The villa also has a BBQ we made full use of and a terrace to watch the sunset.

+: The villa set up and the people involved in it were v much like the people of Crete ! Hospitable , friendly and helpful and always willing to go that extra mile to make everything great for us.

+: The villa was amazing, we had 4 couples, a baby and one single person stay and it was more than enough room for us all. The pools a good size and has great chairs and sun loungers around it. It's a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cab to some shops. Its only a 20 minute cab (~15 euro) to the harbour which was lovely and had excellent shops and restaurants. I'd definitley stay here again.

+: Sehr geräumiges Haus auf 3 Etagen mit vielen Schlafzimmern,3 Bädern, 2 Küchen und 2 Wohnbereichen.Toller Garten mit vielen Orangen.Sehr netter Gastgeber,unkomplizierter Kontakt. Lage sehr schön, umgeben von Olivenhainen.Kurze Wege zum Strand und in die Stadt.

+: clean, homely, spacious, family-friendly

-: The supermarket is a trek in the heat for carrying water etc but we managed fine.

+: Villa oli juuri niin ihana kuin kuvissa näkyy ja uima-allas iso, erityisesti kouluikäisen lapsenlapsen mieleen (uimataidottomat lapset tarvitsevat kellukkeet). Villassa oli tarpeeksi tilaa isolle ryhmälle ja keittiössä hyvä varustelu. Omistajat olivat kohteliaita ja avuliaita, kaikki toimi ja oli siistiä. Ihanat maisemat ja julkinen liikenne toimi hyvin. Jos liikkuu paljon, kannattaa vuokrata auto. Me viihdyimme villassa niin hyvin, että suurin osa nähtävyyksistä jäi katsomatta.

+: Tout était parfait : la villa est top , la piscine magnifique , il y a un espace de jeux extérieur pour les enfants et la maison est très bien équipée pour les enfants. Nous avons passé un super séjour . merci beaucoup à Nikos et sa famille pour toutes leurs délicates attentions!
