+: Das Haus war sehr sauber. Moderne Einrichtung, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Top. Die Ruhe um die Villa ist super, gerade für Familien mit Kindern oder Menschen,welche die Stille genießen möchten sehr zu empfehlen.

-: Beim Duschen kam immer Wasser aus dem Abfluss,sodass das Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Die Lage war sehr weit abgelegen, sodass man ohne Auto aufgeschmissen ist. Man hat lange Fahrtwege um zum nächsten Ort zu kommen, wo etwas los ist und man spazieren kann. Man fährt sehr weit raus durch unzählige Olivenbäume bis man zur Villa gelangt.

-: Everything was clear and nice

+: Beautiful place, very secluded location, really nice swimming pool, a lot of wildlife, including many bats which resulted in lower amounts of mosquitos, well furnished, comfortable beds, nice to had some food products waiting for us (water, honey, jams, dry bread, snacks etc.) which allowed us to skip the visit to the groceries at the same day. Very responsive host who answered all our questions and when we needed something there was a fast reaction. Washing machine was a good thing. Kitchen was relatively well equipped, with a toster (some previous comments mentioned the lack of a toster - probably the owner purchased it recently). Also there were a lot of exits from the building including one directly from the bathroom towards the swimming pool - allowed for easy change of clothes and a shower without wetting the whole house. There is a hot water with a lot of quantities - 7 people could take a shower and the water was still warm or even hot. If I ever return to Crete I will definitelly check if the place is available for renting. I highly recommend.

-: There is a lot of various small insects, that sometimes manage to get inside the house - some doors could be more tight from the bottom (like the doors from the bathroom to outside) - those were not anything problematic - the insects were not harmful nor particularly disgusting (milipedes, wall centipedes etc.) and of course their presence can be expected in the countryside. There is still no dish drainer in the kitchen and the knives could be sharper. The dishwasher could be useful in the future. You have to also be aware that the big supermarkets with good prices are located in Kissamos - 15 minutes drive. There are however closer Mini Markets available withing 5 min drive. Despite this I have to underline - we lived in 5 different houses in Crete - this was our second best - really enjoyed it and I believe this was a perfect choice for our family.

+: Modernes, klimatisiertes Haus mit viel Platz, schön grosser Pool,, ruhige Lage, ,schöner Blick ins Tal, von Olivenbäumen umgeben, mit Grillplatz. Waschmaschine) Vermieter geht auf individuelle Wünsche ein.

-: Ruine auf Nachbargrundstück, Rasenfläche teilw. vertrocknet, nicht gemäht, Wünsche (auch kleine Töpfe, Sonnenschirm am Pool, Sitzauflafen für alle Stühle, besser funktionierende Kaffeemaschine)

+: Le calme, la proximité des lieux touristiques.

-: Manque d'équipements dans la cuisine (2 casseroles, pas d'égouttoir, rien pour faire la vaisselle, pas de planches de découpes, pas de torchons, etc...). Chasse d'eau des WC défectueux et odeur d'égout dans la chambre. Pas de climatisation dans le salon et la cuisine. Extérieur non entretenu, piscine sale et non éclairée le soir, vue de la terrasse sur poubelles et ruines... A ce tarif, c'est inacceptable.

+: The pool was deep and bigger than it seemed. The outdoor seating was lovely and comfortable, although not adequate for 7 people (it wasn't a worry for us but it would have been if there were more of us). The poolside seating was great and comfortable. Rooms are good size with great Air Conditioning in them. The beds are nothing fancy, but comfortable enough! The host is amazing, responded quickly to any request or questions that we had throughout the stay, and helped greatly overall.

-: The kitchen was under-equipped - no toaster, scissors, chopping board etc. The freezer is also quite small, which is something to factor in for longer stays. The villa is FAR out, so a rental car would be almost necessary, the nearest big shop is 15 minutes by car. Taxis would cost a fortune throughout the stay if not. There is no AC in the main livingkitchen area inside.
