+: The hotel is great, modern, nice style They are very fast in responding to calls and the room dining was great.

-: I care about small details in hotels. When you charge me around $1,000 for one night I expect to get very exceptional services. My stay was very good but as advised I am not staying in a normal 5 star hotel . I was in Jumeriah Bali before staying at Allila and can see a very big difference in service level but they are all very small details. 1) there are not enough buggy’s in the hotel. We came once at 10pm with two groups and there was one buggy only and there was no one from the hotel to assist us. we waited for 15 mins than just decided to walk to the villa. We also used the buggy 4 times. 2 of them in the middle of the way to our villa was stopped because it went out of battery and we were changed right away to another buggy. 2) the hotel is not very fast in responding to their what’s app number. It took some times 20 mins to respond. During my stay in Jumeriah, I sent more than 30 messages during my stay and they didn’t delay in responding for more than 2 minutes even though I sent them messages sometimes at 4am. 3) I didn’t like the fact of having different menus in the breakfast everyday. To be honest some menus were excellent but some were average to my taste. There was also some delay in the breakfast. We got the bread after 20 mins after asking multiple times. The day after there was a delay for just getting our orange juice and after asking them many times. 4) check-in experience can be much better. We entered with no welcome until someone showed up after 2 mins. These are all small details as I explained. The hotel and facilities are great, I won’t write such review for a normal 5 star hotel charging me $200 or $300 but when you charge me $1,000 I expect everything to be more than perfect.
